He's doubtful for the game. The biggest issue is that this probably means Taylor Mays will get some snaps. Nate Clements should start and he's been about the same as Crocker, but Mays is a wildcard.
The biggest issue with Mays is that he's more prone to giving up a big play. With your play action game, this could have a big impact... |
Clements and Crocker would share time, but i sort of doubt Mays gets much action, if any at all, since this is a playoff game.
Clements winded is probably better than Mays fresh. _________________

Let's hope. I can see Mays being brought in on "rushing down/distances", which if Houston catches correctly could lead to a big play action pass.
We'll see... _________________

Maybe a few. Maybe. We'd get more if the Bengals got a top 3 pick though. This is a draft site after all. _________________

If we stop the run, i think we win the game. Get the ball in AJ's and Hawkins hands early. Quick routes with YAC should be pretty big tomorrow. Its going to be tough to run on that D and we need to find other ways to pick up first downs. I see Dalton throwing 35+ times easy. Give Peerman the rock too. _________________

I'd like to see Boom get some carries. Gresham needs to step up and actually catch the ball. _________________

I see Mays getting a few snaps more on obvious passing downs, for the sole reason of not biting on play-action. Not that he should get more than a few snaps on defense, barring injury. _________________

Clements winded is probably better than Mays fresh. | And this is why safety has to be priority this offseason along with resigning Michael Johnson |

Safety has been a "priority" every single year since Marvin was hired on. Honestly, as long as the defensive line plays as well as they have been, safety isn't as important. I'd still rather draft more pass rushers than safeties. _________________

Offense needs to see more than 2 minutes on the field to win this game. Pitiful start. _________________

At least the Bengals are holding them to field goals. Bad start, only down 6. |

Honestly guys, we cannot win this game with Dalton at QB. That throw into double coverage was a bad read, but the receiver was still way past the defenders. If Sanu didn't have to stop to try and catch the pass, that is a TD. He just doesnt have the skills for us to win in the playoffs against good defensive teams. _________________

Huge TD by Hall. Our only hope is our defense and special teams. _________________
