I really like the Benard signing, he has potential, led the Browns in sacks a couple of seasons ago despite just playing as a rotational player.
He was involved in a car accident which slowed down his career and didn't seem to fully recover until recently, who knows... [he also could be just a camp body, but hopefully he's more] _________________

| Camp bodies, if they even stick through July. A lot of these future contracts guys get weeded out between the end of the year and training camp. Kafka will be useful in mini-camp as an extra arm in passing drills. Benard is fodder. |

Benard is intriguing, at least. He had 7.5 sacks in 2010, regressed badly (half a sack in 4 games) in 2011 before being involved in a season-ending motorcycle accident, and then dislocated his elbow this offseason. I could see him as a candidate for the last year's Mark Anderson role. _________________ Shut up, NBT |
