I don't like Bray, I've made that known. QBs need to be leaders whereas Bray is simply a guy looking to have fun. |
Ideally he's a guy, you draft to sit behind an established veteran until he develops and matures, ala Ryan Mallett in New England. And after Smith, Wilson, and Barkley, that's really all you're looking at IMO, developmental QBs. |

I too would love Geno at #7. Don't give a damn that everyone else is down on him.
I'd be tempted to trade down for an extra pick or two with someone like say the Chargers who could really use a guy like Lewan or any available OTs.
Would still probably be able to snag Geno in the top 15. _________________

I'd love to get an extra pick or 2 this year. It's a deep class in all of our needs sans the QB spot. Trading down in the 1st round to still target Geno will be dangerous though. Getting behind the Jets is dangerous. _________________

I know this would never happen, but if i were to trade down i would send our 1st and 3rd or 4th to Rams for their 2 1st |

If Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert, and Jake Locker can all go top 12, then so can Geno Smith. |

While I do see a good chance for it, I'm not fully convinced he even gets to 7. _________________

I agree that he won't fall to 7.
I don't see how he gets out of the top 5. 4 or 5 QB needy teams picking in the top 7 (if you think the Eagles will take one like I do than 5). The Bills and Jets are picking 8 and 9, so that is 7 teams out of the first 9 that need a QB.
So the question really is, who is going to be the one to pull the trigger or trade up to the top 5 to get the best QB in the draft? _________________
