Indeed, Andy Reid has canceled other trips and is hashing out final details with KC, I'm told by a source involved in talks.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the preferred structure on all sides is Keim/Horton, team just going through due dilligence to make sure they are not missing out on something supremely awesome? _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Per Kent Somers, Andy Reid is officially no longer a candidate to be the next head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. It was a wild few days but it seems safe to put this to rest now.
We'll leave this open in case anyone has any further thoughts on the Andy Reid situation as it applies to us but I ask at this time that all other head coaching/GM posts be directed to the appropriate thread. _________________

Not to drag this back up because it is officially dead but Scott Pioli is out in Kansas City per Mort and Schefter.
Reid wanted full control over all football operations, personnel and the coaching staff. We wouldn't give it, Kansas City just proved it will. _________________

That's a loaded roster that's just missing a few key peices.
They get a quarterback in there, they're in business.
How ridiculous is this?

Nah, it's a talented offense for sure (Assuming Bowe and Albert both come back) but the defense is incredibly shoddy. Plus with Reid wanting full control, they may be looking at a scheme change which obviously throws everything into a state of unknown. _________________
