Playoffs:
~Packers go through MIN, SF, and SEA to the Super Bowl
~Rodgers beats Manning in a shootout 42-35

Not-retained:
WR Greg Jennings-tagged and traded to MIA for 2nd round pick
WR Donald Driver-retires
C Jeff Saturday-retires
DB Charles Woodson-retires after being released
RB Ryan Grant
RB Cedric Benson

All other FAs retained, Sam Shields gets 1st round tender.

Free Agency:

I don't forsee anything major. It's possible that Steven Jackson could be brought in, but I will not mock it in this edition as I really love what Jumanji is doing right now.

2013 NFL DRAFT (1,2,2,3,4,4,5,6,6,7):

1. S Kenny Vaccaro-Texas

We really need help at the S position. Vaccaro has been the anchor of the Longhorn secondary. Played well against West Virginia's high octane speed offense as well as K-State's power attack. A very well rounded S that may not get an A+ grade in any particular area but get's A-/B+ across the board. Steps in immediately at the S position beside Burnett and lets Burnett play downhill more.

2a. C Jonathan Cooper-North Carolina

TT was going to be content rolling with EDS as the starting C, but Cooper falls into his lap in the 2nd round. Athletic and mobile, the perfect fit for a ZBS. Was a vital part of the Tarheel line that opened holes for Giovani Bernard all year. Comes in, battles and beats EDS for starting C job.

2b. ILB Kevin Reddick-North Carolina

TT drafts a year ahead here with Reddick. Hawk's play is okay, but unspectacular. The 9ers have Willis/Bowman combo in the middle and having two playmaking LBs in the middle with Bishop/Reddick could be huge going forward. Reddick was a real playmaker, even adding 6.5 sacks from the MLB position.

3. WR Ryan Swope-Texas A&M

Johnny Football's favorite target. I really like Swope as I guy that can develop into a very solid complementary target, something our offense is built around. He's got very good hands, and came through in big moments for A&M. Probably my mid round crush this year.

4a. RB Montee Ball-Wisconsin

He was running on Stanford pretty well in the 1st half, but the insanely ridiculous coaching decision to leave in Curt Phillips put him up against 9 and 10 man boxes the whole 2nd half and killed his numbers. Has an elite jump cut the best I've seen other than AP. Also has elite vision. He does not possess elite breakaway speed however, but is a very good ZBS prospect with his strong cutting ability and some of the best vision I've seen from a RB prospect. Comes in and splits with Jumanji. Also he's a 3-down back so he handles 3rd downs.

4b. CB Brandon McGee-Miami (FL)

TT goes back to the U for a CB prospect. McGee has bundles of talent, but never put it all together on the field. With Tramon, House, Hayward, and even Bush, McGee won't need to play much initially giving the staff plenty of time to groom his talent. There's a lot of raw physical tools here, it's a matter of trusting your coaching staff.

5. QB Zac Dysert-Miami (OH)

Hindered by what is obviously a poor supporting cast, Dysert is an experienced QB who is tough and battle tested. He's got good arm strength and is quite accurate. Has a bit of a long release, but MM can fix that up right quick!

6a. NT Larry Black Jr.-Indiania

Basically the only solid player at IU. Was always the focus of the opposing offense. Solid run defender, will have to add some weight to anchor the middle in the 3-4, but is a nice flex NT/LE.

6b. K Dustin Hopkins-Florida St.

We have K problems, insert best K in NCAA.

7. Rights to Jadaveon Clowney in 2014.

or some depth at LB/DL/OL/RB/S/etc.

Thoughts?

Don't think we'll ever pick high enough to get Clowney lol

Think Jones would be more likely to drop than Cooper, but I'm not complaining if he does. Wondering in the back of my mind why, yes, but who ever really pays attention to that guy?

Please don't look at Bowman/Willis, you won't find any other combo like them, which makes them a football anomaly/outlier, an exception to the rule. Reddick could probably play either ILB spot though, making him a great pick up.

Ball in the fourth? Sold.

We drafted Clowney's rights, so no one else can draft him. Wink

Bowman/Willis is the outlier, but our DL does a good job of holding the point, but we've done a poor job of filling and making plays at LOS. Too many tackles down field, something Hawk is guilty of. Reddick is a downhill type player.
