I would be surprised if Sully got a HC job after only 1 season. I think he is just an interesting name that Chicago and other teams will look into. In the end I see the OC from Denver, McCoy, going to Chicago.
Love Smith would be the perfect DC hire. Would he want to coach under a guy who had less NFL experience than him, who knows, but if he doesn't get offered another HC job you would have to think its a possibility. Also, with connections to Tampa that helps. Rod would be another, maybe more realistic, option. Also had connections to Tampa but would be a serious upgrade from Sheridan. I mean look at that Chicago D this year. So why hasn't Sheridan been fired yet? Hmmm. I hope he gets fired so bad but until its official you just don't know.
Glad Dom is looking, or what seems to be so, to spend money again this FA. Honestly, if much rather have a CB and Arvil them 2 CBs. Pass rush is part of the problem and pairing him with Clayborn and McCoy would be amazing! Plus, if we keep Wright, which I think we will, that gives us the option of going CB or DL with our 1st round pick. But my preference would be Millner added to a CB and Avril in FA. _________________

I also doubt Sullivan gets the job. I'm sure they are looking at him for his QB background with Eli and for what Freeman was able to do for a short span, but if he were good enough to get a HC job, Freeman wouldn't have melted down to finish the year. I don't think he's there yet.
I am hoping Sullivan didn't save his job with this last performance, it doesn't excuse a whole season of bad defense. |

Great news!
I didn't realize it at the time, but we actually did not have the worst passing defense of all time this past year. We gave up 4758 yards for the year, but last year the Packers gave up 4796 yards. |

At first I was thinking Zach from the Seahawks, but it's Zach from the Jags. Only played in 4 games this last year and had 4 catches. |

Thanks for clarifying. I almost got really excited
He's a very good athlete, but he has struggled to stay healthy. |

Well one thing is obvious. Schiano and company clearly want an improvement at TE. So what do we do. If we have the option this FA do we get a CB like Mike Jenkins or DRC with Cliff Avril or do we get the CB with a Jared Cook cuz i doubt we get all 3. But hey, all 3 players would be cool, I just don't think it will happen in reality. _________________

Well we need a CB, that's for sure. But we could sign Connor Barwin at a cheaper price than Cliff Avril and then maybe get Jared Cook. If not, we could always draft one. _________________

Good to see Dunsmore make it back on the roster. Owusu is an intriguing name. Been seeing it pop around as one of the TOP guys to sign that was on anyone's practice squad _________________

I was really impressed by Sean Baker in the Washington preseason game. _________________

Meh. He didn't really help improve Freeman's lingering issues. _________________
