Bad move IMO. The Falcons were way more conservative this year than the talent level of their offense should dictate. _________________

If I'm reading into this correctly, this is just an extension to his current OC contract. He can still leave at anytime (including this year) to go be a HC somewhere else. I don't think this means he's staying in ATL necessarily, I think this was to prevent him from joining somebody else's staff as an OC. _________________

From what I have read it also has an agreement that he would not seek any HC opportunities this year. It gives Koetter and the team a little more stability atleast for the time being. This was the Atlanta front office looking to keep focused on the playoffs while locking in Koetter as OC unless he does eventually take a HC job elsewhere. IMO this is a win-win situation for both Koetter and the Falcons.
Dmitroff is yet again proving to be a very savvy GM. _________________

you must not know who we had before
im perfectly fine with two 1000 yard receivers and a quarterback who had his best year yet
4719 YDS 32 TDS and 69% completion percentage
and an offense that averaged 26PPG, the only thing this offense needs is a RB _________________

I would love to know how many 20+ yard plays come off Play Action. I know a good running game isn't all that is needed for Play Action, but the Falcons running game wasn't exactly helping it ...
Many Bronco fans ripped John Elway for getting Dirk Koetter in for a HC interview last year. Seems to me that Elway was actually ahead of the curve. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

well considering the what the offense was before under mluarkey, ill take it in a heart beat, we just started using screen plays this year, something he mluarkey never did. plus it is our 1st year under dirk, it should only get better especially with the emergence of julio, the bad part is tony g will retire so we will prolly go after dustin keller to replace him _________________
