Adalius Thomas and Josh Brown
Thomas and Ware would make the best OLB combo in the NFL and the most dynamic athletes
and Brown has proven to be a very clutch kicker, throughout his years, I belive this year alone he has 3-4 GW FGs...2 I know were voer 50 yards _________________ Bring swag back to Dallas 2012.

If we get Freeney or Thomas our def. would be sick, imagine how good our secondary would be with that kind of pressure on the Q.B. - We also need a UF def coord. _________________ I Bleed Blue In A Sea Of Green!

Thomas, Ware, James and Ayodele? Sick.
Isn't Hamlin an FS? If so, I wouldn't mind getting "The Hammer" in here. |
I noticed you didn't have CARPENTER in there... did he get drafted as a MLB or an OLB? _________________

I think when they drafted him they had OLB in mind. Brilliant! |

What price tag do you think would be demanded by Freeny and Thomas and how likely are we to go after them assuming Ellis is done for the most part? _________________

From what I have seen of him he isn't the best cover safety, and that is what we need. _________________ Bring swag back to Dallas 2012.

He'll have the maximum compensation package placed on him. It would cost us a 1st and a 3rd to get him. I'll pass.

He sucks. Absolutely not.

He may get the franchise tag.

He'll get the franchise tag.

Wrong kind of player for the 3-4 defense.
| Quote: | | Lance Briggs, UFA, Chicago Bears |
Will be given the franchise tag.

Would be expensive, but would be a welcome addition. He'd bring a lot of leadership to the squad.
| Quote: | | Nate Clements, UFA, Buffalo Bills |
He'll be franchised. _________________

Plan9 - if Freeny doesn't get "Franchised" what would we have to pay to get him? What about Thomas? (You said Expensive, but not how much..) _________________

My estimation of costs
Dwight Freeny= 5 yrs 60-65 mill and 20-25 signing bonus 12-13 mill a year
Adalius Thomas= 5 yrs 40 mill and 15-20 signing bonus 8-9 mill a year
Mike Gandy= around the same as Adalius Thomas
Leonard Davis= 4 yrs 25 mill and 12 signing bonus 6.5 mill a year
Eric Steinbach= Around the same as Leonard Davis but will probably get a 5 year deal
Vincent Manuwai= 5 yrs 26 mill and 10 mill signing bonus 5 mill a year
The best options for the cowboys are Eric Steinbach or Vincent Mauwai both very solid guards, young and not a hefty price tag. Mike Gandy can be a good replacement for a struggling Flo Adams. I say no to adalius thomas, no to leonard davis and ofcourse we have no spot for dwight freeny (we are not paying that much to not know if he can be as good in the OLB spot).
Oh and sign Wade Phillip D Coordinator from the chargers, or Rex Ryan D Coordinator from the ravens, sign them for as much money as they ask we need DC badly we dont need anyomore defensive players (maybe NT) of the future but w.e we need a DC now i dont care how much its even if they took cap space for coaches which they dont. |

Don't forget Rivera of the Bears - get him to bring Briggs with him too _________________
