Andy Levitre is one of the better Guards in the league for Buffalo. He's 26 years old and a UFA. I don't know much about the Bills' salary cap situation but they just gave Mario 100M and Jairus Byrd is also a FA. If he hits the open market what be the asking price you think? If we go QB with our 1st pick Levitre could fill the spot that Warmack would have...
Hopefully our resident Bills' fan could chime in.

While it is true, the Bills do have a lot of cap room set to be available for the 2013 season, it's deceiving cap room as they currently have just 34 players under contract for the 2013 season.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Levitre. I asked Yibbyl about it and he said there haven't been any talks that he knew of. _________________

Considering how we are either going to use our first pick on a QB or involved in a trade for a QB, I would be for going after a guard in FA instead of targeting one with an early first round pick. If Levitre is legit, I would be for signing him. _________________

As far as I know they still haven't sat down to work something out and, as of yet, the Bills & Byrd haven't come to an agreement. It shouldn't surprise anyone that the Bills talked to Byrd first since there are so many more options for interior linemen than FS's in this draft. However, that doesn't mean that we think Levitre is expendable.
BTW, Levitre is a tactician, a pure ZBS guy, who needs to stay on the left side...he really doesn't have the power to man the RG spot. Warmack on the other hand could be immediately plugged in at RG on the Cards line, but of course that eats up a draft pick. I understand the interest given his reputation, but I don't exactly think Levitre is a perfect fit for Grimm's predominantly power blocking schemes...assuming that it's kept next season. _________________

Last year he started at his usual LG spot of course, then when Bell got injured, he moved to LT, and then after Wood got hurt, he was moved to C. He was so bad at C (2 games), that he was moved back to LT (played well there) and Urbik was moved to C (Rinehart then moved to RG). Eventually Hairston, who had been injured earlier in the season, got healthy enough to play LT and Levitre finished that season at his usual LG spot. _________________

Thought it was a longshot to begin with. Sucks cause we'll have money to spend but there's no Carl Nicks this year. _________________

No but there are a lot of tackles to like in free agency, should 2-3 of them make it that far. _________________

Impending free agent LG Andy Levitre made it clear while cleaning out his locker on Monday that he intends to shop for the best offer on the market this offseason.
The Bills opened preliminary talks in the offseason, but they went nowhere. A picture of durability on an oft-injured offensive line, Levitre has started 64 consecutive games since entering the league as the 51st overall pick in the 2009 draft. Levitre is Rotoworld's No. 1 ranked guard on the market this year. He should attract plenty of suitors if the Bills don't re-sign him before free agency kicks off.
