We probably should be favored in every game except San Francisco. _________________

Feel like we should win these games, the rest will be close. It's not as daunting a schedule as I thought, especially with many of those teams being a bit overrated IMO. San Fran and the Giants have pass rushers that worry me, Cincinnati is a big time up and comer, and the Vikings have AP. Many of those other teams are on the down end of their runs. _________________

Wow we are screwed, thats 2 auto-loses at NYG and SF, 4 games against teams with losing records, 1 road team with a losing record. Playing against the 2 superbowl teams, and then the steelers, falcons, bengals, cowboys, bears twice, vikiings twice and redskins yuk. I see 10-6 honestly.
I couldn't imagine a worse schedule honestly, you take us playing in the NFC North originally which is already the toughest conference in football. Then you got the AFC North which is easily the toughest conference in the AFC. Then you take the NFC East which has one team with a losing record, including the Giants which is a matchup nightmare. Then on top of that, you give us the 1 and 2 seeds in the NFC (Falcons, 49ers) as our other 2 NFC teams, jesus talk about schedule nightmare. |

If anything, we'll get the Giants and Eagles at home (our last 2 meetings with them were also on the road if you count the playoffs) and the Redskins on the road, that would be my guess. Falcons would probably be at home as well, since our last 2 (3/potentially 4 including the playoffs) meetings against them were also on the road, and our last 2 meetings against Dallas were at home, so I foresee it being in Arlington this time (place where we won our last Super Bowl ).
But, just think, IF we do manage to win the SB again this year, I guarantee you the schedule makers will be creaming themselves because it leaves them with not one, not two, but three intriguing possible matchups for the season opener (4 if the Ravens somehow find a way to run the table and make it to the SB, assuming it's also at Lambeau, which is highly unlikely at this point, but you never know in the playoffs, as the last 2 years have showed us):
Steelers at Packers-rematch of Super Bowl XLV (same jerseys, too, Pack in their green [home] jerseys and Steelers in their white [away] jerseys).
Giants at Packers-last 2 (or 3, depending on how you look at it) SB champs.
Or possibly:
Falcons at Packers-Potential rematch of the 2013 NFC Championship Game (at Lambeau this time), much like the Vikings-Saints opening day rematch of the 2010 NFCCG.
In all likelihood, one of these will be the season opener and the other two will be prime time games. |
First of all let me say this, you are stupid and do should do some research before talking. Where we play the opponent doesn't necessarily matter where we played them last, unless it's an AFC opponent. We play the Browns and Steelers at home because in 2009 we played them away, we play at the Bengals and Ravens because in 2009 we played them at home.
We play the Giants in NY because we played them at home in 2010, we okay the Redskins at home because we played in Washington in 2010. Get the pattern? The only 2 opponents for whom our location isn't decided yet is the Falcons and SF/SEA which I am not sure how it is decided. |
so, him not knowing 100% how the scheduling works makes him stupid? wonder what that makes you for being an internet tough guy,.,.. if anything i'm guessing it makes you warned from a mod when they see your post.
never know how good or bad teams will be/change next year. the ravens are definitely on the way down, Bengals and skins up. |
Yupp, they're definitely on the way down.... _________________

Unless some of our defensive issues are addressed this is pie in the sky, especially these road games you are penciling in as wins. |

In 2013, the Packers will host the Redskins. 2013 also marks the 30th anniversary of the highest-scoring Monday night game in NFL history. On October 17, 1983, the Packers hosted and beat the Redskins 48-47, a total of 95 points between the two teams.
In 2013, October 17 falls on a Thursday. Therefore, it would be very fitting if the Redskins-Packers game in 2013 was played on that date. |

We're due for a little better luck. So I'm going to say only 9. _________________ GO PACK GO!
