| Wolf's son Eliot Wolf is a high ranking official with the Packers. Ron Wolf wouldn't hire his son as G.M, would he? Eliot is well regarded but only 30 years old. |

Candidates receiving interviews thus far:
Steve Keim (Cardinals VP of Player Personnel)
Tom Gamble (49ers Dir. of Player Personnel)
David Caldwell (Falcons Dir. of Player Personnel)
And much to the relief of Chargers fans everywhere, Dean Spanos confirmed in his presser yesterday that his son won't ever see the General Manager position; he's going to end up getting a promotion to Executive Vice President and is being groomed to take over Dean's job as CEO/President down the line.
Dare I say it? The Chargers are actually doing things right for a change. _________________

That's almost as weird as the Jets doing it right. We are interviewing Gamble, Caldwell, and Marc Ross. _________________

Why would anyone be interested in the Cardinals VP of Player Personnel? |

Really depends on who they hire I think. I've seen Jim Tomsula's name attached to Gamble in a number of places. Caldwell, I'm really not sure if he has a preference on someone, but if the guy operates like his mentor (Dimitroff), I may almost prefer him to Gamble.
The obvious connection of Wis to Keim is there, but he could just as easily be keen on Horton.
Also, there this:

| Spanos may have turned a corner, but I don't see him hiring O'Brien with that buyout at Penn State. |

Sometimes, those guys aren't bad even when the GMs are. Baalke was VP of Player Pers. _________________

Steve Keim is pretty well-regarded. Interviewed w/ Rams last year. Panthers are looking into him as well per beat writers. I hear the rumor is that Keim wanted Peterson and Cutler but Graves went with Brown and Leinart instead, LOL.
And now Arizona might bring in Reid/Heckert which would kinda be a slap in the face for the guy.
Anyway, kinda weird San Diego hired Ron Wolf. I mean, isn't the guy a supervisor/confidant for Reggie McKenzie? Maybe he's a double agent _________________
