|
|
|
More changes per usual. With it being this early in the game, I tend to "play" with mocks a bit more and I usually tend to a combo of how stock is now and where I think it will end up rather than one way or another. As typical, I expect a lot to change leading to the draft and especially once we know for sure who is not eligible. If I miss anything obvious or make any mistakes, please let me know. This is my first two round mock this year so it wouldn't surprise me if there were a couple mistakes. As always, all criticism is welcome and is encouraged.
Also, my "m" key is being sketch right now, so if there are random "m"s missing, that is why.
Top 20 is set. 21-32 will be set by current record standing in a way that is feasible. Essentially, as lolz as Walterfootball is, I have used their draft order for 21-32 and round two.

Rather have Richardson over Werner but Elam in the 2nd is perfect. _________________

I am a Jaguar fan as are you I see but Geno Smith would be the dumbest pick we could do at number 2. Star Lotulelei-Luke Joeckel-Damontre Moore or Jarvis Jones should and will be the pick. Geno Smith would not sure up the QB position at all, and the drop off from QB's in the 2nd and 3rd rounds really isnt that big, with Barkley, Glennon, Dryst! |

Our offense faced injuries this year, our defense just sucked.
Why focus on offense?
Moore and Elam por favor. _________________

Don't need a first round DE or a MLB.
Ogletree at OLB in 1, and Hopkins at 37.
Reid at 56 is great. _________________ 2017 Draft Needs: Interior O-line, Pass Rushing DE, Linebacker, Kicker, Overall Team Speed. |

For the Vikings:
I think Ogletree in the 1st and either Woods or Patton in the 2nd would be a better draft. |

I wouldn't be sad to see the Bucs take Poyer in the 1st and Amerson in the 2nd. We haven't been shy about double dipping at a position high in the draft and we really need help at DB. If we don't do that I'd rather see us take an edge rusher in the 2nd over a DT. _________________

An all LSU defensive draft. Not a bad idea. But I would prefer Montgomery, Vaccaro and Arthur Brown. _________________

Woah.... a MIA draft that offers doubling down (and early) for WRs and adding a decent OG with the first 3 picks?
Exciting, yes! Do I like it, yes! Practical? Probably not. But, I like it the idea.
But, I see them grabbing a BPA OT/OG because Jake Long is probably not coming back. He doesn't deserve a huge contract based on the past 2 years. Incentive laden with a decent and fair market value.
Alternatively, they could go BPA DT(maybe DE or LB) to help with pressuring QBs and taking the load off of Cameron Wake. If LB would have to be a dominantly 4-3 guy....
No names, just BPA w/decent character! But I do, in my sick offensive minded mentality, like your draft. This would be my alternative thoughts.... |

I tend to agree. 2 wr's that high is improbable but would be interesting. I love the Rd 2 picks just the way they are. However, OT, DE, or CB is more likely in the 1st. _________________
