| The skins are winning now, but do you think he can stay healthy the next couple of years with his style of play? I see him up and down with injuries in the future. In 2014, with the possibility of cousins being traded for multiple picks could you see a rookie qb drafted by the skins in 2014's draft? How do you feel RG III is going to do longterm. Is their a back up plan you think if RG just can't stay health. This is a possibility. Thoughts? |

Welcome friend!!! I think his health will be fine as Shanahan grooms him into a primary pocket passer. They'll slowly start opening the playbook for him. _________________

First off, welcome to Football's Future! If you get a chance, please sign our Getting To Know You thread at the top of the page. Just a bit about yourself (but please no personal revealing info like last name or a pic).
As for Griffin, he's a smart kid. Watching him play, you can tell he's learning what he can and cannot do. Yes, he got thwacked last night by Spencer, but that was a busted play where he got hit from behind. Happens.
His health will always be a question ... until it isn't. Because he got knocked around early, I think that helps him because it requires him to focus more on being a passer and not turning on the jets too soon. |
