Lovie Smith just spent 9 years as a head coach. I highly doubt he's going to jump right back in and take a coordinator's job.

WHO knows? Gruden and Cowher might never come back in the NFL because they been out of it for years

Pretty much. But it would be awesome if this happened. We would have 3 established coaches, and we will be fully aware of what they bring to the table. Rivera is a fantastic defensive coordinator. Norv, while not the most successful head coach, has shown a knack for developing explosive offenses. He also believes in getting size at the WR position, which I'm all for. With Lovie at head coach we have a head coach with great leadership and discipline, who has shown he is willing to commit to the run game.

That'd be pretty solid trio....add Marinelli as Dline coach...would be nice.

Eagles sign DE Everette Brown and CB Trevard Lindley

#Eagles have signed DE Everette Brown and CB Trevard Lindley, who will surely make 53-man roster only to be cut days before opener.

Brown is a nice no-risk signing - liked him as prospect out of the draft, likely turns into nothing, but a name nonetheless.

I have no issue with signing Brown. Low risk move.

Lindley is the new Hanson, only he hasn't seen any playing time yet.

Lindley would be on the PS if we had decent depth in his rookie year and he didn't have to play there.

Eagles won't be on the hook for remaining $5 mil in Andy Reid's contract if he signs elsewhere. It's one reason why he was given head start to look elsewhere. That $5 mil could come in handy if the Eagles want to pay Bill O'Brien's buyout.
