Those sources are guessing that he can. Truth is, he doesn't and would have to learn how to rush from the other side. Didn't work out well for Sheard when he tried it.

San Jose State and Duke are non-traditional powerhouses?

When you lay it on, you lay it on thick.

meaning what exactly?

meaning yea his athletic ability makes you look all ohh and ahh but very little production to go with that athletic ability. Martellus Bennett is the better signing of we are going to sign a TE in FA

Meaning he has the ability but a coach hasn't been able to get him focused and productive. So it is a calculated risk based on the coach.

Cook was drafted by and played for one of the best coaches in football today....

why would it be any different here? Its not a calculated risk, he's a headcase.

Geoff Schwartz #76 T/G Minnesota Vikings
Height: 6-6 Weight: 340 Age: 26
Born: 7/11/1986 Los Angeles , CA
College: Oregon
Experience: 4th season
DS's Comments:The 6th/5th man on the vikings OL Rooster. Wants a pay day and a chance to start. IMO Guard play is the weakest spot on the OL.
Likes the idea of a power run game O that Cleveland is setting up.

Matt Slauson #68 G New York Jets
Height: 6-5 Weight: 315 Age: 26
Born: 2/18/1986 Sweet Home , OR
College: Nebraska
Experience: 4th season
DS's Comments: The 6th/5th man on the vikings OL Rooster. Wants a pay day and a chance to start, that and New York is a dumpster fire. IMO Guard play is the weakest spot on the OL. Likes the idea of a power run game O that Cleveland is setting up.

Derek Cox #21 CB Jacksonville Jaguars
Height: 6-1 Weight: 195 Age: 26
Born: 9/22/1986 Winterville , NC
College: William & Mary

DS's Comments: Big Corner looking for a bi pay and to get away from the dumpster fire that is Jacksonville as the impending Tebow circus is headed to town. That and likes the idea of forming a tandem with Joe Haden being cornerstones on the back half.

DRAFT

1. Chiefs: Geno Smith, QB 6-3, 220, West Virginia
2. Jaguars: *Damontre Moore DE, 6-4, 250, Texas A&M
3. Raiders: Star Lotulelei, DT 6-3, 320, Utah
4. Eagles: Luke Joeckel, OT 6-6, 310, Texas A&M
5. Lions: Manti Te'o, ILB 6-2, 255, Notre Dame

Tyler Wilson QB 6-2, 218, Arkansas
7. Cardinals: TRADE Cardinals Move up for Tyler Wilson
*Bjoern Werner, DE 6-4, 256, Florida State

1 Bjoern Werner*, DE, Florida State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 255.
Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
DS's Comments: Browns Immediately upgrade there pass rush off the jump. Werner has a high motor and his run pass recognition is high as well as his ability to get around the corner.

2 Phillip Thomas, S, Fresno State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
DS's Comments: The Browns pick a FB to play the deep middle. With his range and speed the Browns can now play a lot single high safety looks and not get burnt.

3 Ryan Otten, TE, San Jose State
Height: 6-6. Weight: 253.
Projected 40 Time: 4.71.
DS's Comments: The newGM got rid of Watson and Smith as if it were elementary my dear Browns fan. Cook Otton and Camerion are the new depth chart at TE.

4 A.J. Klein, ILB, Iowa State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 244.
Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
DS's Comments: Rangy physical do it all LB that doesn't excell at anyone thing but just does everything well. High football IQ green sticker type of guy.

5 Conner Vernon, WR, Duke
Height: 6-2. Weight: 195.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
DS's Comments: All time leader for ACC in receptions is now a security blanket type of receiver for Weeden.

6 Dan Paul, FB, Boise State
Height: 6-0 Weight: 265
Projected 40 Time: : 4.65
DS's Comments: A Full Back that makes Trent Richardson look small. Doug Martin's favorite guy to run behind is now Richardson favorite guy to run behind, and he seeks and destroys LB's with glee.

Quinn Sharp, P/K, Oklahoma State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
DS's Comments: New punter and Dawson Insurance.

DEPTH CHART@CAMP
QB Weeden Lewis Johnson
