I consider it Brady in a runaway according to advanced statistics, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. The media votes for storylines and is beyond ignorant, it's a meaningless award. |
I would love for Brady to MVP, but i would be very upset if Manning wins it over AP. |
Who cares about the MVP? Let Manning have it, and lets go get the Vince Lombardi. For old times' sake. _________________

Those two things are separate... winning MVP doesn't cancel out possibly winning the SB although history does work against the MVP winner of the regular season winning it. _________________

Since it's pretty much an unofficial rule that the MVP is on a play-off team, why is it awarded without reference to the play-offs?
If some MVP player goes out and plays awful, costing his team their first play-off game, is he still MVP? Especially if the second place MVP goes on a tear all the way to the Superbowl MVP.
Now if a non-play-off bound player could win it, fair enough. But they don't. Just seems odd. _________________

Happened a couple of times to Manning, lost his first playoff game. _________________

Yep, to Tom Brady aswell one time.
But i guess I'm fine with MVP been based on the regular season as long as the team makes the playoffs, it's just how it is now, no reason to change it. _________________

Didn't he have a couple of guys open too? wow. , yet expected. |
Looked to me like Ogletree ran an Och-cinco type route....ie a bad one. He was the hot read on the blitz. _________________

| How anyone can continue to have any faith in Romo whatsoever is baffling to me. |

It will be very interesting to see if they stick with him if they lose tonight. |
