Is Schaub an nfl starter?
The def. is now infected with lethargy.
There is absolutely no blocking on the rt. side of the o-line.
Where are the Schaub apologists now?
An absolute collapse of an nfl team that appears on the way down in the nfl. |

I sure think we are good enough to make the playoffs for years to come but i've always had doubts about Matt Schaub as we really need a great QB or a great Defense to make it all the way.. we have neither. _________________

There are like 3 other threads talking about these things, this one isn't needed to be honest. _________________

Stupid thread fail just like the last one. Of course we are a playoff team, question is whether we are a Super Bowl team, and that is certainly in doubt. Agreed, much more intelligent conversation on the matter going on in other threads... _________________

Yes, the Texans are a playoff team. I've been saying the Texans are more like a 10-6 team than a 13-3 or 12-4 or 14-2 type team. They're a WC team. Just too many issues right now this late in the season.
- Offense hasn't really clicked consistently.
- Defense has been pretty bad at times, especially with the secondary getting torched by big plays.
- Special Teams is mediocre to awful, but we knew this from the beginning of the season.
- Kubiak is a giant whimp, again this was something that was going on throughout the season.
- Foster has been beat up because of his excessive carries early on in the season.
- Schaub has progressively gotten worse since the Ravens game (except for the Jaguars game, but it's the Jaguars...)
- Injuries have hurt us a lot, especially at LB. Reed being out for the majority of the season. Of course Cush, and then Dobbins/Sharpton with their missed time.
To be honest, aside from making the playoffs, there's been only one shining positive for me after this week 17 game... JJ Watt.
We may or may not beat the Bengals (assuming the Patriots and Broncos win today) next week, but after that I'm not expecting anything better than a loss against either the Broncos or Patriots. _________________
