Had a different though about approaching the draft.
Dallas seems to have a pattern the last few years. Garrett draft philosophy, perhaps? Not sure, but anyhow
1st round -- plug in starter
2nd round -- injured project or trade up in 1st
3rd round-- 1st year role player, future starter
4th round -- project player
5th round, on -- value at position of need
Looking at it that way, I think where we go in rd 1 depends on what we do with Rat, Spencer, and Free. Personally, I designate Free and retain both Rat and Spencer and draft the A&M RT. _________________

Which of these players would you want 18th overall?
Kenny Vaccarro S
Jonathan Cooper C/G
Ezekiel Ansah OLB _________________

If we don't resign Spencer than Ansah most definitely, otherwise it'd be Cooper easily.Yes,our Safety play has been atrocious but I feel we can grab a good one in round 2/3. _________________

Early Draft Wants
1. Alex Okafor DE Texas- Need a DE badly now that Ware is gonna be on the wrong side of 30 and Spencer may leave. We have no pass rush right now.
2. Barrett Jones C Alabama- Need to fix the middle of the OLine with these pro ready Alabama linemen.
3. Monte Ball RB Wisonsin- Felix Jones is gone and Murray has been injured the past 2 years.
4. Margus Hunt DE SMU- Keynon Coleman is prolly gone and Hunt could eventually start with Tyrone Crawford.
5. Leon McFadden CB San Diego State- Mike Jenkins most likely or possibly Scandrick will not be on next years team.
6. Daimion Stafford S Nebraska- Will Church be back like he was before an achilles tear. I always have Kevin Smith in the back of my mind when thinking about that type of injury.
7. Alvin Bailey OG Arkansas- We really need more people to protect the QB

Ezekiel Ansah OLB | i really like Jonathan Cooper.
Ansah is so scary. Absolutely too risky for me.
If I'm the GM I go with Vacarro. Get the big play safety that you've needed. _________________

This team needs protection and pass rush. I think that looking at the last couple of years, its blatantly clear that Garrett and Co. want an impact Dlineman. Just look at the reports of us almost drafting Watt and wanting Brockers last year. The problem is, at our pick, I don't think the talent is their to warrant a Dline pick. The more I watch John Jenkins, the less I like him. Hankins won't be there. Richardson won't be there. Star won't be there. Our best bet is to grab the best interior lineman available or trade back and gather picks. _________________

Didn't know where to put this,so I thought I'd throw it in here.
Cowboys 2013 opponents ---
| Quote: | The Cowboys will play Green Bay, Minnesota, Denver, Oakland and St. Louis in Arlington in 2013 thanks to their third straight third-place finish in the NFC East.
The Cowboys will play at Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego and will get to see Sean Payton and New Orleans inside the Superdome next year by losing to the Redskins. |

So, opinions on Jenkins playing 4-3 DT? As many of you might noticed, I want the Cowboys to go complete hybrid. And I'm considering Jenkins in my next mock, was thinking what you guys think of him playing DT? Not thinking on 3rd and 10, offcourse..
- I think he could do some damage there. With him and Ratliff in the middle who they would both have to give extra attention based on pure strength, It would really open up for blitzes from Carter, Lee, Connor or some draft pick. Maybe lining Butler up as OLB, could do some damage sometimes as well? Don't forget, they would need to keep an eye on Ware as well. Then letting Jenkins rest on passing downs, and Ratliff when lining up in a 3-4. |

I think he can, but he would be much less effective. _________________

Who are some guys you'll be watching in today's bowl games?
NC State-Vandy: Glennon is the obvious one. Who else? Jordan Rodgers?
USC-GT: Khaled Holmes, Matt Barkley...
Iowa St.-Tulsa: Any in this one?
LSU-Clemson: Montgomery, Mingo, Reid are just a few here.
