The only wrinkle in letting Albert go is that they have Donald Stephenson who has played well for them this year. They could take Joeckel but they are sort of in a position like us, only their backup might be better. They would still be left with a huge hole at QB. _________________

Alex Smith will likely be on the market. Michael Vick too. There will be options there for them and then they could still draft a QB in round 2.
