The Seahawks actually run the football, the Seahawks actually call playaction roll outs, and have recently utilized some zone read option
All the things that Russell Wilson would not be doing in the current Eagles system. Not to mention the elite pass blocking Oline by comparison |
But, he's clearly a better player than Foles.
The QB question would be answered for years to come. |

I don't see how you can confidently say that. Until Foles plays with a solid oline, the starting WRs, TEs, RBs and a defense that doesn't give up 100pts a game you can't say he's the better player. Wilson was in a much better situation than Foles. He didn't get thrust into the game half way through the season with a patch work offense.
If you check out this article from CSNPhilly it shows he did quite well for what he had to work with.

Interesting article. I wonder how Russell Wilson's numbers would stack up if compared the same way. The article switched between comparing current NFL records, where Foles was behind Wilson in some categories, and historical Eagles records which would eliminate Wilson from competition.
That said I do think Foles has done enough to warrant a full season under center for the Eagles and hopefully we can get a coach that can work with his strengths. _________________

Just checking, I loved Russell Wilson but this just seemed odd considering we weren't in position to pick him and was picked 13 picks ahead of the 88th pick. _________________

Well there is no doubt that Russell Wilson is a superior talent, but you put him in Philadelphia and he isn't the same player he is now.
No one is which is why this cast needs to go
It's been a great run but it's time for some new innovation in Philly
I really will be disappointed if you guys dont land Chip Kelly |

If Foles was on the Seahawks theyd probably be doing even better then they are now. _________________

Nah, Russell Wilson is a stud. He was a stud in college. He's become a stud in the NFL. I'd take Wilson over Foles everyday of the week. _________________
