If my mom was the raiders headcoach and she went 0-16, and was ranked 32nd in every category, would she deserve another year because the team lacked talent and she had no cap-room to install her scheme? |
If your mother had a decade of NFL coaching experience under her belt and came from a family that had NFL ties, was the youngest head coach in the NFL, and considered one of the better young defensive minds in the league then she should get another chance to coach the team. |

Dennis Allen is one of the better young defensive minds in the NFL, that's widely acknowledged. Let him get some talent on the defensive side of the ball and a good offensive coordinator and we'll see if he's the guy we want leading us into the future. |

How many young defensive coordinators are there that are getting consideration for head coaching positions? _________________

Dennis Allen will be the head coach of the Oakland Raiders next season, Mike Glennon will never be a part of our franchise, and we're going to rebuild the defense this off-season. So none of your hypothetical predictions mean anything anyway. _________________

And the O has been worse then the D lately arguably all year |
There's absolutely no way we're more talented on the defensive side of the ball than we are on offense. We have an old washed up defensive line, a bunch of rag tag linebackers, and the least talented secondary in the entire NFL. |
yes sorry that was my point...
we are more talented on O, and yet lately the D has been outplaying the O. very frustrating.
that shows me that coaching is just important as talent level.
the D with way less talent is out performing the O _________________

I think it has more to do with that the have a HOF CB and 2 pro bowl level pass rushers. And the GOAT QB who gets them leads so their pass rushers can pin their ears back. _________________

Mike Glennon is proving why he's a franchise quarterback today. He has terrible awarness in the pocket and makes terrible decisions. If he was forced to play next season he'd turn the ball over 30+ times. _________________

Glennon is a 3rd round prospect at best. I don't know where all this talk about him being a 1st round pick came from, but it's ridiculous. Maybe it's because this years QB draft class is so bad? I don't know. But he'd be a huge reach. _________________

Because some team will fall in love with his arm and size. That's it. Put the tape on and he's just not an accurate passer. _________________
