Unlike the other games I expect us to win.
Freeman should have a good game going 17-26 290 yards 2TD's 0int's(but one will get dropped)
Martin should have a 100+ yard game and a TD himself
Only reason I say this is because this week we face Atlanta's backups. I refuse to believe we suck so bad that we get smacked by 2nd and 3rd stringers. And if we do, like I said in the other thread it will be a whole new meaning of pathetic....but I doubt it happens. End the year at 7-9-0 _________________

From everything I keep hearing, the only one who may not play for Atlanta is White, who's nursing a slight injury but Smith won't risk it.
Everything coming from their camp is they're playing to win the football game. Don't want to take their foot off the gas heading into the playoffs, where they've struggled, so don't expect the back ups to come in, atleast not until the 3rd/4th qtr.
Regardless, Bucs need to win this game. As much as I'm not convinced Freeman is the Franchise QB and long-term answer, he needs to play well, for his job. Because guys like Schiano and Dominik, they're not going to risk their jobs banking on him. No turnovers has to be the mind-set and goal in this one.
Defensively, get to the QB. That was something we were unable to do in the first meeting. I know the secondary sucks, but lets see if we can build on some d-line performance, which has come along of late, as Bowers has gotten healthy.
This is a confidence builder game. |

wow thats crazy...
Well if they do play starters they will probably start pulling them after halftime but then again bucs could be down by 3 scores then... _________________

Division games are always close. If Freeman plays like he did mid season we can hang with their offense. It's the defense I am worried about. I hope they play as good was they did last week. I hope the play calling is as good as it was last week as well.
I would love nothing more than giving the Falcons another loss, kill some momentum before they head to playoffs _________________

First no significant injuries to the core guys. I think Bowers and McCoy would greatly benefit from an offseason not rehabbing an injury, but refining their technique.
I don't care if the Falcons roll out all of their practice squad in the second half, just find a way to win. This losing streak has to end this year. |

Tell that to the Saints a few weeks ago.
The Falcons are unlikely IMO to head into the playoffs on a down note. If they lose in the 1st round as the 1st seed again they will have that monkey on their back another year, and they won't let us in the way of that, I'm sure. I'd love to be 7-9 as it seems so much better than 6-10, but I see another loss. At least the good news is our schedule was so weak that we should have a high pick for it. _________________

Never like to lose but come draft time the 2/3 spot difference in our draft spot could be huge! _________________

here's my preview for the week
| Quote: | The final week of the 2012 season is upon us and gives us one last game before the playoffs begin. This week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to stop their now five game losing skid as they travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons. This is a case of two teams going in opposite directions as we wind down the final days of 2012.
This is in intriguing game to see one thing, how long the Falcons keep their starters in this game. The team has already locked up home field advantage but with the struggles that the Falcons have had in the playoffs you would have to think that they want to put forth a good effort and try and go into the post season with some momentum.
These two teams met earlier in the season for what might have been one of the better games of the year. Tampa jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t hold late as Matt Ryan and that offense was too much for the last ranked pass defense to handle.
The Falcons should go right after the Buccaneers as they still don’t have an answer to slow anyone down in the air. Eric Wright will return from suspension which can hopefully add some help to a secondary that has mightily struggled since his suspension. In fact the Bucs have failed to win a game since Wright played last, so that might be something that could help add a boost.
Last time when they played it was the rushing defense that looked off. Jacquizz Rodgers took advantage of poor angles and tackles and came up with some big runs. That is the thing the Buccaneers must do this time around is control the rushing game if they want to start bringing pressure against Ryan.
Offensively the Buccaneers need to get out of their slump. They have failed to start fast as of late and it’s led to them playing from behind early. Josh Freeman needs to have a good game to end his season on a high note.
Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams must establish themselves early and build Freeman’s trust or it could be a long day. Last time when they met the offense had a very quiet first half and led to them having to play from behind. I expect them to get Jackson involved early and open up the run lanes for Doug Martin.
Martin had a rough go around last game with little to no running room at all. The Falcons sold out to stop the run and did just that. It’s important like I said for the Bucs to get to a fast start and get some lanes for Martin to run through.
In the end it’s tough to predict this game. We don’t know how long the starters for the Falcons will actually play as even Las Vegas has left the game off the board this week for that exact reason. I think Schiano wants to end the season on a high note and will be playing against mostly backups by the time the fourth quarter rolls around.
I think Ryan will get a couple touchdowns early but Freeman will lead the Buccaneers back in the second half with a 31-27 victory to end the season off at 7-9. |

| If you would have asked me at the end of October if I thought this Bucs team would end this season on a 6 game losing streak I would have told you "You're outta your ****ing mind!" This has been such a disappointing end to the season and I think Sunday it will all come to head. I fully expect some of these guys to not give maximum effort and to lose in a blowout. I will just be glad it's over. |

As much as I dislike agreeing with you , I wouldn't be surprised if we lose by a few scores either. Falcons want to go into te post season on a positive note. What better way to pound the snot outta the bucs? |

I'm praying to God the offense can wake up, because the pass defense will get eaten up no matter who is in the game. Would love to end this ugly month of December on a good note. |
