I was never overly critical of the pick, but Mark Barron's are available in the 6th round, you don't blow a top 10 pick on a guy that can't cover and can't tackle. |

we actually encourage that you dont do that here. What good does you bumping this? Once again he's 15 games into his career. Take a step back and breath. I dont care he's a top 10 pick, blah blah blah blah.
One year doesnt make or break anyone if it did, Michael Clayton would have be in the hall of fame and Ronde Barber would have been a collasal bust....see what I mean?

| Where you are picked does mean something. MAYBE Barron can salvage the pick and become decent. My frustration is watching other teams picks blossom while the Bucs picks become Michael Clayton, Carnell Williams, Gaines Adams (RIP), Marcus Jones among many others. Right now, the best name I can attach to Mark Barron is Sabby Piscatelli. |

Go watch some of Sabby then watch Mark.. A LOT of bad angles, including several that give up long touchdowns. He also has had some effort questions. Hopefully in the off season they get to him. |

Barron has made 2 good tackles all year. One a QB and one on a WR. He just can't tackle. He makes poor decisions and takes poor routes, like on the TD run where he ran smack into a guy lying on the ground and stumbled over him against the Falcons? Or where is just jogging to catch up to Lance Hendricks, gets himself blown up and allows the next 40 yards? Or the constant back of the end zone throws that were his responsibility? C'mon... Barron has been garbage. |

I've been a big Barron critic and ill even tell you your flat out wrong in the tackling department. I still have to tell my self he's a rookie. He played excellent the first 6 weeks then he hit a rookie wall the past 8 weeks or so. Even how good lavonte David is he still misses assignments. It's all apart of the rookie curve.
Barron can tackle and showed that on display. Sometimes he gets too greedy and would go for te highlight lay of the wood and miss. He's been hot and cold this year something you'd expect from a rookie DB.
He's still got a lot to improve but to say he's garbage is bad. Look how much he meant to that Alabama secondary. He made Robert Lester look like a first rd pick. Now he's getting 4th rd chatter without Barron. Patience. |

Well said, and I agree. Wait until after this off season and he will then be surrounded with talent. Then I think that we will see different results from him and some others. We are not really that many players away from being competative next year. |
