Looks like Lewis will make his long awaited return come playoff time, but it remains unlikely he will see any action during the regular season finale versus the Bengals.
Can't wait to have our leader on D back.

I would imagine so. If he can still keep up with his normal conditioning with the injury. _________________

That being said, I feel like he could do enough to keep his conditioning up to a level where he can compete adequatly. Not to mention, the crowd in the first playoff game should be electric, and Ray (and the entire team) should feed off it. _________________

I'm guessing he is a cert to start the wildcard playoff game, with the defense being introduced to hype the crowd up as much as possible.
Wouldn't expect him to be on the field for anything like all the snaps, though. I can't see how he'll be in tip top game shape, as soon as he comes back. Physically, he could be right as rain, but there's likely to be a bit of mental rust that he needs to knock off.
Ellerbe and Bynes looked pretty good against the Giants, and if they continue that form against the Bengals, I'm not too concerned if Ray eases back into things, in that first game. _________________

I kind of agree but Lewis has been practicing for the last few weeks so it probably won't be that big of a deal. |

If there's anyone that I have faith would keep themselves in shape during an injury...it's Ray freakin' Lewis. _________________
