Feel sorry for Tebow more than Mularkey. Mularkey's lack of innovation was holding the Falcons back and they have a traditional passer
Tebow with Mularkey and he doesn't have a chance to live up to his potential
That's why it's so refreshing to see how the Redskins use RGIII because you almost never see innovation in the NFL offensively to build around a dual threat QB instead of trying to force them to fit a system that was specifically designed for guys who had no mobility whatsoever or ability to stretch the field verticaly |
There's a good chance that Mularkey is canned. _________________

Jane McManus, as well as others, are reporting on Twitter that Tim Tebow asked not to be used in any wildcat packages after he was passed over to start this week.
I'm not sure how I feel about that. I can see Tebow's point of view, and I agree with him he deserved an opportunity based on his NFL resume, combined with the fact that McElroy isn't exactly some phenom. However, it's disingenous to say to reporters after the game that you're going to do whatever you can to help the team win, when you made yourself unavailable to the coaching staff over the course of the week.
I think it's time to just cut him and seperate the franchise from his situation, altogether. The Jets are unlikely to recoup even a late pick for him anyways. _________________

That's what we've been talking about this entire page. | Someone from ESPN said it was near 100% certain I forget who. _________________

And @mortreport reports it's "a virtual certainty" that Tim Tebow will play in 2013 for the Jacksonville Jaguars. |
That would be perfect for him. |

The Jets screwed him. They started Mark freaking Sanchez over him, despite Sanchez showing complete incompetence for the entire season.
Why should Tebow be a part of their stupid gimmick package that never goes anywhere? They traded for him, so why not just start him at QB? It's not like there were any better options on the roster. _________________

| When Tim Tebow is no longer a member of the Jets, I may be able to start taking this team a little seriously again. Maybe. |

They would have to make some great offseason moves for me to forget about it. The fact that we did it will bother me for a while. _________________

Good for Tim. I would've told them long ago not to play me in that crap. If all you're going to call is a wildcat run up the middle, then shove it. You let Kerley throw it but never once let Tebow have a shot at it? GTFO.
Happy Tim is sticking up for himself and I hope he makes things happen where ever he goes. _________________

| If Tebow refused to be part of the wildcat, isn't that being insubordinate? Wouldn't the jets want to tarnish some of his shine? |

All Tebow would have to do is say what he was promised.
I doubt for one there wouldn't be anyone that wouldn't side with Tebow and two, who cares. Even as a Jets fan I've had enough of this circus. _________________

Seriously? I mean, Sanchez has been terrible, but I don't think Tebow would be any better in a conventional offense... _________________

No, but he we implemented the spread offense we'd have a chance.. _________________
