This makes no sense. He isn't nearly athletic enough and it doesn't play to his strengths. He'd make. Good fb or te and can add some trickery to our offense. Maybe even have him play some running back | are you kidding me? He's easily athletic enough to where some scouts said that if he was able to swallow his pride, he could have been a great linebacker. it's not like he doesn't have the natural ability. And before you say he isn't athletic enough, tell me which of these guys is which.
Linebacker A: 6'3" 236, 40: 4.71, 20: 2.66, 10: 1.55, Shuttle: 4.17, Cone: 6.66, Vertical: 38-1/2", Broad: 9'7"
Linebacker B: 6'1" 232, 40: 4.64, 20: 2.68, 10: 1.58, Shuttle: 4.45, Cone: 7.29, Vertical: 33-1/2", Broad: 9'2"
Linebacker C: 6'1" 239, 40: 4.62, 20: 2.59, 10: 1.60, Shuttle: 4.38, Cone: 6.99, Vertical: 40", Broad: 10'3"
Oh, for reference. Linebacker A is Tim Tebow. Linebacker B is Stephen Nicholas and Linebacker C is Sean Weatherspoon. Tebow has the size, athleticism and intelligence to play linebacker.

im against it because I can only think of one scenario that id like him taking the snap over Matt Ryan. That one scenario is a weakness of our though, and thats goal line/3rd and 1. Get that gator heavy formation going and see what he can do. Still probably not worth it though. _________________

I don't see your point. He's definitely less athletic than spoon and possibly Nicholas. Nicholas was abused by graham. As I said, he isn't athletic enough to cover graham. Not that he's not athletic.
Not to mention you're taking away one of his biggest, if not his biggest attributes, on defense.

| And in still don't understand why people re saying no. He obviously isn't taking snaps from Ryan. He's a good football player and could. O some interesting stuff for us |

Tim Tebow will be a great NFL QB. Every one knows that the better looking the QB the better he is.
Look at that. Tom Brady wishes he looked as good as this man. Matt Ryan aspires to be this man. I heard Gisele Bundchen has to wear a Tebow mask at all times just so Brady can get his 24/7 fix of Tebow. _________________

| Why waste the the time to make this guy a linebacker?! Physical stats are one thing, the extra baggage is another. Spend the time developing young draft talent as opposed to a media distraction. |

Making him a lb won't happen and was not a good thought. However, he would be a unpgrade at multiple positions. I don't see a downside to bringing him in |

| I would take Tebow as a back up. No QB is immune from injury and as he has continued to prove me wrong time and time again. 1. He is a great person with an amazing character and 2. He is a winner. I do not care what football people think and say (i.e. scouts) the guy continues to win. I will take a winner any day of the week over a superior athlete because the attitude is contagiuos and 2 They find ways to win. Look at what he did last year when given the chance. |
