Greg Reed (FSU) has declared for the nfl draft. Even with what happened with him at FSU, I would love for us to take a look at him and possibly draft him to fill one of are CB needs.
Also Tyler Bray from Tennessee is declaring for the draft and I think he can be a decent QB in the league. _________________ Tampa 2013 "No Fly Zone" Revis,Banks,Wright,Goldson,Barron

wouldnt touch him before the 7th round....Dont see him better then a dime back in the NFL, but his return skills could certainly help us _________________

I was thinking 4th round because he has 1st round talent and even though they play different positions he reminds me a lot like Mike Williams, who was 1st round talent, but drafted 4th by us because of character issues and leaving the team his last season in college. _________________ Tampa 2013 "No Fly Zone" Revis,Banks,Wright,Goldson,Barron

I dont mean to just get in the middles of this discussion, but...
Greg Reid is in no way a first round talent. His coverage skills are average at best, and to be honest, that's with me being generous. I think he is a tremendously talented returner, but beyond that, i just dont see it.
And I really dont think Schiano is the guy that is going to take a chance on a player with those type of character issues. |

I have both Moore and Star going top 5, with Dion Jordan going top 8.
Jones would be intriguing though for sure. Like DRD said, he would play SLB for us, which would allow us to get rid of Black's high salary, then would rush in passing situations. Either of those three tweener DE's you listed I could see because we could do that with any one of those guys.
I still would rather draft a CB in the first and sign a top one in FA. We can't cover for two seconds, and while the draft is deep in corner, I really believe Millner or Banks will do us great. |
Understand for sure. But I think we'd benefit trading down and then get a cb. Gather some extra picks and still get Xavier Rhodes who I like a lot better than banks and milliner. |
The hard part is finding a trading partner |
Trades are becoming more and more easier to get done with the 2 year old salary scale. There were like 10 trades alone in the first round in 2012 and only RG3 was a player of an elite talent. So with that said, TB will definitely have suitors because every year there are multiple teams willing to move ahead of other teams to take their "guy". Random: Looking back, TB probably should've moved up to get Kerrigan instead of settling for AC. I never thought he'd be that great but damn he has been a monster for the Redskins. |

All good. That's why we have these boards and that is your guys opinions and that's mine and only time will tell.
I must admit I have been wrong before, but I have also been right. So like I said we shall see. _________________ Tampa 2013 "No Fly Zone" Revis,Banks,Wright,Goldson,Barron

I know Jarvis Jones is dropping like a rock in mocks, but I don't know if I want to deal with another oft-injured defensive lineman. His spinal disease has shortened a lot of careers... _________________

Its an interesting debate. Considering how short an average NFL career is, if you could get 3 great years from Jones as a pass rushing specialist, is it worth it? I would have to lean towards "yes", but I certainly can see the other side of the argument. |
