I know this is far in advance, but I thought it would be interesting to look at who we will be facing next year.
Min x2
Chi x2
Det x2
@Cowboys
@Giants
vs Eagles
vs Redskins
vs Steelers
@Ravens
@Bengals
vs Browns
Falcons
SF/SEA(probably SF)
Not sure who out of Atlanta and SF/SEA we play home or away.
A lot of tough games it looks like and should make for a great season. |

Why would we be on the road at the Giants again? The last 2 regular season meetings in a row were in New Jersey. If anything, we'll get the Giants and Eagles at home (our last 2 meetings with them were also on the road if you count the playoffs) and the Redskins on the road, that would be my guess. Falcons would probably be at home as well, since our last 2 (3/potentially 4 including the playoffs) meetings against them were also on the road, and our last 2 meetings against Dallas were at home, so I foresee it being in Arlington this time (place where we won our last Super Bowl ).
But, just think, IF we do manage to win the SB again this year, I guarantee you the schedule makers will be creaming themselves because it leaves them with not one, not two, but three intriguing possible matchups for the season opener (4 if the Ravens somehow find a way to run the table and make it to the SB, assuming it's also at Lambeau, which is highly unlikely at this point, but you never know in the playoffs, as the last 2 years have showed us):
Steelers at Packers-rematch of Super Bowl XLV (same jerseys, too, Pack in their green [home] jerseys and Steelers in their white [away] jerseys).
Giants at Packers-last 2 (or 3, depending on how you look at it) SB champs.
Or possibly:
Falcons at Packers-Potential rematch of the 2013 NFC Championship Game (at Lambeau this time), much like the Vikings-Saints opening day rematch of the 2010 NFCCG.
In all likelihood, one of these will be the season opener and the other two will be prime time games. |

First of all let me say this, you are stupid and do should do some research before talking. Where we play the opponent doesn't necessarily matter where we played them last, unless it's an AFC opponent. We play the Browns and Steelers at home because in 2009 we played them away, we play at the Bengals and Ravens because in 2009 we played them at home.
We play the Giants in NY because we played them at home in 2010, we okay the Redskins at home because we played in Washington in 2010. Get the pattern? The only 2 opponents for whom our location isn't decided yet is the Falcons and SF/SEA which I am not sure how it is decided. |

Actually it is decided. We will play the Falcons at home and SF/SEA on the road.
Here's the rotation for the same place games.
2009: Played NFC West
2010: vs 49ers
2011: vs Rams
2012: Played NFC West
2013: @ SF/SEA
2014: @ NFCW
2015: Play NFC West
See the pattern? The location of the same place games flip every time we play the division. Home in 2010/11 and Away in 2013/14
And for the NFC South
2008: Played NFC South
2009: @ Buccaneers
2010: @ Falcons
2011: Played NFC South
2012: vs Saints
2013: vs Falcons
2014: Play NFC South _________________
