Former Bucs and Bears DT Brian Price visited with the Minnesota Vikings.

This is his second workout with the team this year. I'd love to see him sign this time. Low risk high reward if he has his mind right _________________

If his mind is right I'd love to have him. Terrible what he went through maybe playing some football will help him get back on track now that he's had some time to reflect and heal emotionally. _________________

If he's healthy, it's a move that should be made. Guion has been a huge disappointment this year, and the Vikings need someone who's capable of eating up blocks. _________________

Every time I see the name "Guion" I think of sub-atomic particles for some reason. _________________ However, you're right that it did improve a bit. I'm just not sure I trust our coaching staff to develop offensive lineman. |

You're thinking of gluons. _________________

I wanted when he came out a couple of years ago. As long as his head is on right I think he can be a really good DT. Plus he can learn from one of the best that has played in the last decade. He can be a very good addition to our d-line. _________________

While he's not Pat Williams (I don't know anyone that is), Guion's been alright. He's not a "huge" disappointment. He's been nicked up with lots of minor injuries all season long, which is why you might think he's been a disappointment.
I've like Brian Price, but he'd only be a backup on this team right now. Guion and Evans are better than him right now. _________________

Perhaps there is a particle named after Guion?
(Definition)
"Guion: an under-sized particle (lepton?) readily deflected by particles the same size or larger. Has a tendency to not "stick" to smaller particles colliding with it. Looses kinetic energy with the passage of time." _________________ However, you're right that it did improve a bit. I'm just not sure I trust our coaching staff to develop offensive lineman. |

Price would be a solid DT to eventually work into the rotation. I know he has had a lot of personal issues to overcome, he deserves a workout. |

Quote: | The Baltimore Sun reported the Vikings also recently worked out receivers DeMarco Sampson and Isaiah Williams, who both most recently were with the Arizona Cardinals. |
Sampson was a stud at San Diego State. Good jump ball type kind of guy. Don't know anything about Williams other than he he goes 6'2, 200 with a 4.4 forty. Safe to say the team is looking to bring in guys to start developing going into next year. _________________

Sounds like future contract signing, like they did with Manny Arcenoux and Philip Hunt a couple of years ago. Price is someone who I still think can be good in the NFL, if he actually comes in, in shape. _________________

Yeah, I don't see why he couldn't be a rotational players.
But, I'm guessing he's best suited as a 2 down lineman, playing the run downs, right?
I really doubt we'll be lucky enough to find another Pat Williams anytime soon. Dude was an animal!!
