He is really good and will probably hit the market. | I don't think he will hit the market. Isn't he a restricted FA? |
He is unrestricted and they have heavy resources invested all over the offense. | Hard to believe they'd let him walk though. |
They just gave 100 million to their TE position and they have Solder at LT.
They also drafted Marcus Cannon who has recovered from cancer and gotten reps.
They could franchise him and pay him 11 million I guess. _________________

Why? Because I've actually watched him play multiple seasons, not judging him off of one game on national TV like very other casual NFL fan? Alright my dude. _________________

Did you all see Vollmer on Sunday Night??? He wasnt good.....and honestly no OL will really come in and save this line.
The problem is the offense itself. We just plain need a change in philosophy. We need an offensive head coach who comes in and really gets a model to work out of. | No offense can thrive without a decent Oline. You gotta have both bro. _________________ Here's to hoping Emery is NOTHING like Angelo. |

I see little to NO chance he stays in New England, the only way he does is if he is franchised. Which won't happen due to the money they will have tied into the OLine alone (Mankins, Solder). They are not going to pay him like he has LT potential, he has been playing for under a million every season of his career in NE, I don't see them deciding to drop 5-6 million/yr on him. It's pretty funny, go check out the Patriots forum and see how nervous they all are About losing him... It's for good reason. _________________

Suggestion: Draft Barret Jones 1st round this year and begin building around him...
Having him and a healthy lance louis in the middle could be a good combo to build off going forward. _________________ ADOPT A BEAR= CENTER ROBERTO GARZA

He does not have the upside to be a 1st round pick.
Great leader, flawless technique but physically he does not dominate.
Chance Warnack is who you want. _________________

You gotta have both bro. | With excellent coaching that is simply not true. We have seen SB winners with bad lines but the right coaching. And the truth of the matter is there are not many teams with great lines, most only have decent. WE have had decent line play for half a year the last two years and were 7-3 and 7-1.
We will never win the SB with Smith I don't care WHO the line is. That being said I do want to draft linemen or get some more in FA. Raid NE's practice squad. |
