Slater, Branch, and anyone else below them are close to useless in the passing game. It's not just a down field threat that's missing. It's a WR on the outside that can run routes and get open. We just don't have that, at all, and there's not a young one waiting in the wings. It's really sad. |
Slater got wide open and Brady missed him. I'd love to see more of him on the field. Obviously not a lot of snaps but a few more plays that aren't just short yardage when we're running.

Hard to argue with a brick wall. |
Its basically Belichick draft philosophy vs Matt Millen. _________________

Sure, but we could get him occasionally involved when we have some skill at WR as well. I'm talking every down, consistent presence at wide out. They need to go out and find the talent, that's been the problem as we all know.
I'm not even talking studs like NBT is, (Wallace, Bowe, Jennings etc)
I'm talking Mario Manningham, Andre Roberts, Denarius Moore, etc _________________

By "finding" the talent, do you mean drafting in the mid rounds? Or do you mean actually signing a FA like Manningham et al? |

Ponder how different of a QB post Moss Brady is compared to pre Moss.

Thank you for that insight. Professor Moss tends to make QBs smarter. _________________

Yeah, it has nothing to do with the change/evolution in offensive scheme and the addition of Hernandez and Gronkowski. |

Happens when you aren't good at selecting WRs in the draft.
Bethel Johnson, Chad Jackson and Taylor Price all names we remember for poor performance. _________________
