Yeah I have no knowledge of this player rather then I recognized his name.
He got cut the first week of the season by the Seahawks. He is 5-11, 228 so he probably be a short yardage back. hopefully he can pick up the blitz |

Egg Lumpkins a good pick up ... sorta random though.
Any idea how much we signed him for/ how long?

The Lump had 41 catches in 2011 and is a good pass protector according to the beat writers
So he will be our 3rd down back |

Not sure where this fits..
Brandon Jacobs seems to be cut from the 9ers. Do you want him back? I mean.. hes better than Torain, no? And he knows the playbook. Can help in some pass protection situations when Bradshaw is winded. And he knows the 9ers playbook.
EDIT:
Looks like Jacobs will be suspended, not cut.

9ers must have been expecting that. They are suspending him for the season.
I'm getting my news from a big 9ers fan, sorry for no links. |

Oh well, probably would of tried being a speed back anyway |

weird that there's no recourse for the player in this type of situation. _________________

this team has learned to live without Jacobs for this 2012 Season , if he wants to come back he can get in line and wait till 2013 , we have to keep moving in direction that favors forward

wasn't at all my point, because i could care less about Jacobs and his fat mouth and ballerina feet.
point was, there have been a number of these "suspensions." i mean, i guess a team has every right not to activate you, but if you're suspended then you are without pay, right? am i missing something? where is DeMaurice running his mouth to a camera to protect these guys? _________________

little bit ironic that DJ Ware replaced lumpkin in college when he went down with an ACL and now Lumpkin is going to take the role ware used to have with the giants. _________________ Justo wrote: Hyperbole is three syllables.
