Didnt Kolb go 4-0 with the cards ... got hurt and then they started this 0-7 losing streak?
I dont know who they plan on taking in the draft that they think can be a solid franchise qb. _________________

No, but he's been a good corner. They also traded a second with DRC for Kolb. He had proven nothing to the league; what made Arizona think he was going to be any good? _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

They can trade up to number two and get Tyler Wilson.
Please, do it Cards. _________________

Thats just what the need ... more trades
Id just take 2/3 more bad years and wait for Manziel
In the mean time try and build around him. But no one takes my advice _________________

We'll probably have to trade down just to pick him at a spot of value |

Manziel has two top 10 lineman, and compiled half of his stats against 4 teams like Sam Houston State, SMU and South Carolina State.
I hardly think it's worth it to suck for 2 to 3 more years for the possibility that you may get him. |

This year, the Cards probably draft one of TaMUs lineman instead. They may take a QB later in the draft to develop and bring in Alex Smith.
JMO. Totally depends if they keep Wisenhunt or not. He would probably draft a defensive end instead and retain Kolb. lol |

Part of me wants to see Hoyer get a chance and to play well. I honestly think he can be a starter in this league and surprised by the lack of interest after his release. _________________

DRC hasnt been an all star either, FWIW |
DRC's been better than Kolb, then you know there's Vinny Curry and Brandon Boykin FWIW |

The Cardinals were actually successful and winning games with Kolb starting. As soon as he goes out, they start losing. I'm not so sure it's a good idea to let him go unless they're sure they can bring in a good quarterback this offseason. If I were Arizona's GM, I wouldn't release Kolb until that happens. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee

Weren't there some picks in there as well? I forget. |
Yup - netted Boyken and Curry. Neither have done much yet, but their impact is yet to be seen. |
1. DRC has still be significantly more impactful than Kolb.
2. Just because the Eagles wasted the picks doesn't mean that it wasn't a great trade at the time. _________________ With much cheese,

I'm guessing while the second comment is mostly in jest, Boykin has been our nickelback the entire season, and looks like a solid at worst player. When Washburn was the coach he wanted to play his buddy Babin over Curry, who has been very good since being on the active gameday roster. While he doesn't have a sack, he's played in 2 games and has created pressure and made some plays in the oppositions backfield, both have bright futures. _________________
