So here's the extra wild card games if they had been played last season:
AFC:
Patriots vs Raiders
Ravens vs Titans
NFC:
Packers vs Cardinals
49'ers vs Eagles
Do any of those games sound like a playoff matchup to you? |

32 team playoffs. no kickoffs, teams can buy powerups with points they earn from big plays. fans can vote to remove star players from their opponents team for specific plays. each team gets 3 do-overs per game.
can't wait. _________________

Also, a 14 team playoff makes no sense. How would you bracket 7 teams in a conference. |

Roger Goodell must be stopped before he destroys the NFL. Some may say it's already too late. |

Fans vote on the play calls. Smartest fan base deserves the superbowl. That would get rid of punts too... |

This has been discussed for about 3 years now, it's not a new idea. From my understanding the format would be:
1-Bye
2-7 seeded according to record regardless of division standing
or 1-8 all play, seeded by record
the arguement for is the 2008 Pats who went 11-5 and missed the playoffs
the arguement against is the 2010 Seahawks who made the playoffs at 7-9 _________________

Adding more teams isn't necessary to fix this problem.
IMO top 6 teams getting in makes more sense. _________________

IMO top 6 teams getting in makes more sense. | Only way that happens is if you get rid of the divisions, and then you have to figure out how to schedule 256 games each year _________________

Watch what happens to the Colts in the Wild Card round this year. 6 is enough. _________________

- Two random plays a game, a flock of seagulls is released onto the field. Not the birds, the band. Don't overthink this one, just let it flow.
- At some random point in the game, the T-Shirt cannons that the cheerleaders use are loaded with footballs and shot onto the field, mid play. Catching the football that was thrown by the QB leads to an automatic 10 points.
- Hypno-toad.
- Every halftime, a blinding flash of light is accompanied by a foghorn in each locker room. Blind and deaf, the 2nd half kickoff is about to start!
- Coaches hot dog eating contests to determine who gets the ball instead of the opening coin flip. Andy Reid suddenly has 31 job offers. _________________
