Not to condone anything he did or even say that I think he is telling the truth. Just some interesting stats. |
yeah, its weird how he's in the substance abuse program, knows he's being watched and did it anyway.
but 95% chance they'll be suspended anyway. |

If they is even a 20% chance that these ruling are upheld then I think they should drop the suspensions this week...If not, we will miss them for the playoff games and/or next season... _________________

I think we can handle not having them against the Cards could be tough against the Rams and 49ers though. |

From Adam Schefter:
Quote: | Appeal of Seahawks CB Richard Sherman’s four-game suspension is scheduled for Dec. 14, which means he will play Sunday against Arizona. |
Quote: | Still no appeal date set for Seahawks CB Brandon Browner. |

Perfect.
If all goes well... this means we'll get Browner back in time for the playoffs and my BIG hope is that we don't lose Sherman until the final game against the Rams. That would mean we only have to go 1-deep into our CB bench for all but 1 game, where we'd be without both Browner and Sherman.
I'd prefer that to losing both for an important stretch of 4 games. _________________

Unless he is actually not guilty. I actually believe him when he says that he didnt use Aderall, the problem will be getting the jury and judge to believe it.
Maybe he can keep on putting it off until after the postseason? |

I'll be shocked if he avoids suspension entirely... but if this can go into next season, I'd be ecstatic!
My feeling is that the NFL is well aware of the implications of a false accusation and that's why these announcements don't come out until some 90 days after the positive test. I'm going to assume that the NFL goes through RIGOROUS verifications before announcing any suspensions and therefore, successful appeals should be... and are... quite rare.
Thurmond looked great to me - granted, this was against a subpar QB situation, but was still against Fitz, so I'm still of the opinion that we're fine so long as we're not missing *both* starters.
Sherman/Thurmond for a couple of games... Browner/Thurmond for a couple more (possibly the playoffs)... still better than even one game with pairings of Thurmond/Trufant/Maxwell/Lane. _________________

My bet is that Sherman is at least trying to push it into next year _________________
