ps3? getting mine in two weeks | xbox360 |
I gave up on xbox live years ago. I was annoyed it cost money, and once i was done with college i found myself not playing online games much.
Anonymous, i just a PS3 for the holidays (joint gift for my wife and I from my wife and I). We decided it was silly to wrap it, so i've been playing it for a few weeks. It's awesome. |
Exactly why I'm switching. My Xbox 360 just got the red ring of death so now is the time. Plus in college and not working as often, I can't afford it lol. _________________

So skyline was ok but nothing special.
Also, gentlemans clubs in Covington are terrible. Led to a hell of a night though _________________

The problem with a free bar is that I don't remember how I got home or anything after 11 really. _________________

I got Piada again tonight. This time I got the Italian Sausage Piada with the diavolo sauce, peppers and onions, spinach, parmesan reggiano, and sun dried tomatoes. It was pretty darn good, but I still rate it behind chipotle. It was definitely better than the chicken alfredo piada I got last time. _________________

| Saving money to buy a house so don't eat out much, i've become a much better cook now that I don't have a choice even the wife eats it! So far olive oil salt and pepper on just about everything and it comes out pretty darn good. |

Salt and pepper is the key.
I like to cook when i'm not pressed for time or have something i need to do. One secret i've found is that if i chop up large quantities of veggies ahead of time and freeze them, i'm much more likely to pull out the frying pan. I think the part i hate the most is the 30 minutes of prep time (getting everything out, chopping, seasoning, etc). I like to just throw the stuff in and go.
My go to meal is:
Two chicken breast cutlets (one for me, one for the wife)
little extra virgin olive oil in the pan
season pan with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onions (or onion powder), and basil
Throw in frozen chicken breast cutlets
put a little more of the seasoning on top of the chicken
Cook until there's a nice golden brown skin on the chicken, serve.
It's also really good to reduce long strings of onions with big garlic chunks and butter and serve that on top of the chicken. _________________

I didn't know frozen chick could go straight in the pan, will try that tonite. I'm still learning how to use anything other than a bbq grill. My best dish is still probably bagel bites right now. |

Frozen chicken can go in a cold pan. DO NOT throw it in a hot pan with oil though. You will regret that.
Going with dethawed chicken opens you up to some other techniques (i'm generally too lazy). You can sear the outside and then throw the pan in the oven to bake it to a finish. It'll give you a nice crunchy outside and a moist inside (searing locks the moisture in). I generally don't do this because A) i'm lazy and B) the handle of the pan gets very hot, obviously, and i once forgot and grabbed it (after i pulled it out). Ouch. _________________
