If this is the case, I'm fine with keeping both Heckert and Shurmur. _________________

This offseason is going to be brutal. The term "silly season" may not be silly enough.
One or more of these rumors is bound to be true, but I'm not sure which one. Hopefully, none of them. But I'm looking forward to some pretty hard-hitting headlines in the coming months:
"Belichick and Saban Reuniting in Cleveland"
"Haslam Offers Wife to Bill Cowher"
"Gruden Farts After Eating Burrito in the Flats"
"Joe Banner Plans to Hire Long-Time Friend Rich Kotite"
"Pat Shurmur Leads Browns to Miraculous SB Win; Still Gets Fired" _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

Might have to self-impose a media ban or get a script for Xanax. |

| I don't believe the Lombardi stuff for one second - he was a terrible talent evaluator and I think this is nothing more than him using his media connections to create smoke where there is none. His drafts have been abhorrent and his thoughts on our 2012 draft as being poor were as wrong any anything he ever did on his own. Banner CANNOT be that dumb to think he's the answer. |

| Didn't Saban's wife just say that they're not going to the NFL? If so, I'd consider that the ultimate authority on the matter. |
