| mayhew seems to share millens love of drafting WRs in the early and mid rounds, and with titus looking like he wont be with the team (he shouldnt) next year, i have a feeling that a WR will be the pick yet again in the mid rounds........with that said, if they do indeed go get another WR, how does everyone feel about abbrederis in the 3rd or 4th round? ive seen him play several times this year and was pretty impressed, especially how clutch he was on the drive that tied the game with the buckeyes a few weeks ago.........he seems to have good hands and is taller that pretty much everyone we have currently save for megatron......... |

I don't think MM puts position value on WR's to where he picks them in later rounds. Tim Toone being an exception I can think of but he was billed as a KR.
I think if we take another WR it is in round 2 or 3 unfortunately because the only guy worse at picking WR's than MM is Millen. |

I feel like this could have gone in the draft prospects thread. _________________

He's a gamer, that's for sure. Watched him torch MSU for too long. He has Wes Welker type skills and is worth of a look. |

A team using him like Welker will get him killed IMO. With his size, build, and speed, he's purely an outside WR.
That said, he can play the outside well. I think he could work his way into the 3rd-4th round with good postseason workouts. |

He is a Junior and a late round/UDFA prospect. He wont declare. _________________

Is he coming out this year?
Wouldn't make sense for him considering draft stock. Could make a bump up with a good season next year.
For the sake of the OP's statement though from someone who's watched him his entire career. You'd get a really good receiver. Blocks well, runs great routes and has sure hands. Doesn't always get the touches though, but that's more due to our scheme than anything else. Would be a nice value pick at that slot too, fourth round. _________________

That's right, forgot he's still got a year left. In the meantime, it'd help him out if he could put on 10 lbs and still keep his speed.
As long as he stays healthy next year, he'll get picked up in the middle rounds. |

| I've watched every game he's played, and I also raced against him in the wisconsin state high school track meet... He killed me. He won the 110 meter hurdles and I believe set the state record. Was a QB in highschool. The only receiver of note on wisconsin. Isn't declaring this year to my knowledge. Will probably be a 2nd round pick next year. |
