In one week, the Colts running back situation went from solid to chaotic. Injuries knocked out two running backs against the Titans, which came during a game which Donald Brown on the sidelines.
Now the team has placed Brown along with running back Robert Hughes on Injured Reserve and have signed Mewelde Moore and Deji Karim to fill in the gaps at the position.

One of the only negatives to come out of the Seattle Seahawks 58-0 romp over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday was a bruised foot suffered by leading receiver Sidney Rice. Rice was wearing a walking boot on Wednesday and head coach Pete Carroll said it was a possibility he wouldn’t be able to play Sunday in Toronto against the Buffalo Bills.

Asper and Reisner were both released by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday. Asper had waiver claims put in by the Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reisner was claimed by the Jaguars, Buccaneers and Detroit Lions.

I find it interesting that so many teams had eyes on some of our bottom roster players. Goes to show, when your pushing for the playoffs and start to build a reputation like Spielman probably is around the league, teams take notice and will take your players. |

eh, it could be that those teams putting waivers in on them were decimated by injuries. is that the case? _________________

Sure they had injuries, but there are 30 other teams they could have picked from, why the Vikings? _________________

The Bills traded for quarterback Tarvaris Jackson before the season, but he’s spent the first 15 games of the season on the inactive list. It sounds like he’ll spend the 16th game of the season there as well.
Bills coach Chan Gailey said Monday that he isn’t going to be using the game against the Jets to take a look at younger players or backups, which includes giving Ryan Fitzpatrick the start at quarterback even as it seems likelier and likelier that Fitz is done in Buffalo.
