| Quote: | “They all just crashed down on me,” Morris said. “When that happens, I really just laugh in the pile. ‘Ha, ha.’ I was thinking, like, ‘Y’all dumb, y’all tackled me, but the quarterback is running down the field.’”
Morris’ acting job on Griffin’s 46-yard scamper might have been the best example of how the Washington Redskins rookie backfield tandem is driving defenses crazy. It’s hard enough to account for a dual-threat quarterback with world-class speed, but there’s also the sixth-round draft pick from Florida Atlantic who is tied for third in the NFL with 1,106 yards rushing.
“People feel like I’m in the shadow — I don’t feel like I’m in the shadow. I’m thankful that he’s my quarterback. And I’m glad that we get an opportunity to be rookies together, to grow together. I hope it’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship, and that it goes on for quite some time.” | you really gotta love this kid and what he's done for this offense. He's on pace to 1474 yds which would likely be top 5 in the NFL and 8 TDs rushing. _________________

I really am hoping we let him pound the rock this week. Obviously Shanny's scheme does help him, but he has the patience, the vision, and the power to have a successful career.
Or maybe we will trade him for a pro bowl CB and a 2nd round pick...=p _________________ Adopt-a-Redskins: Fred Davis!

Wow drafting a player in the 6th round who might be worth Darelle Revis (or a pro bowl CB) AND a 2nd round pick would be quite the feat!!
We'd have to have a pretty badass FO to be wise enough to get a steal of a player like that.

Screw that, Morris all day baby...
Revis is coming off an injury and is likely to be a FA.
Plus we can get good secondary talent in the 2nd round this year as the class is deep in CB and S positions. _________________

It was more of a joke of our CP trade than anything. I would not want to trade Alfred. _________________ Adopt-a-Redskins: Fred Davis!

Damn Right. We finally got a young player at a skill position who is Perfect for this Offense and wants to grow with RG3. Why pee on that?
I mean look at what Cleveland spent on Trent Richardson, and New Orleans on Ingram, etc..
This draft pick (way more than) makes up for many of the decisions that didn't work out in the past, and this plus the acquisition of RG3... please... _________________
