Slow clap...into bursting applause
I for one think this mock offseason is as close to the perfect/ideal offseason as it gets.
My few nitpicks would be about Rogers in the 2nd round. He's a huge talent, but to get kicked off a team takes a lot. He could be the best WR in this draft, but he could very well be suspended half the time. Too many volatile personalities in a WR core could be a disaster.
The other is that while I love taking Ogletree, Rogers and Rambo from a talent standpoint there is certainly a nervousness about their characters and if you build a locker room with too many of those guys it could be an issue down the road. That could be a mute point given Spielman's ability to vet those issues.
Again, this feedback is mostly nitpicking because I am a HUGE fan of the entire offseason and I think the team we would field in 2013 could be an 11-5 caliber squad. |

Thanks much appreciated. I understand what you're saying about Rogers. The one thing I compared it to was this years draft when the Rams took Janoris Jenkins in the 2nd. Got kicked out of florida and his stock dropped. They said talent wise he was better than Morris Claiborne and it shows this year. The guy is having a pro bowl season and has like 5 defensive TD's. Very well could be the steal of this years draft. Its so up in the air with guys like that. But hey Randy Moss was the same way and look what he did. I definitely hear what you're saying but if he's there...its hard to pass up. _________________

I can't believe I'm saying this but I have no problems with any move you've proposed. Bravo.
(Of course this means NONE of this has a chance of actually happening) _________________ Confucius Say: To make a long story short, don't tell it. |

Solid mock,
You actually have us re-signing a few guys that are under contract through next year still...
DT - Fred Evans
LB - Tyrone McKenzie (rotoworld has him signed thru next year, sportrac has him as an RFA - so I'm not sure on him)
LB - Larry Dean _________________

I can't get behind any mock that has us re-signing Erin Henderson.
Draft class is pretty decent, but I echo some of the sentiments on Rogers.
Ogletree is perhaps my 3rd most coveted player for us in this draft after Te'o and Keenan Allen. _________________

Im not sure why some people are saying that....he's had 3 1000 yard seasons. His rookie year he missed 1000 by 5 yards, and the year he was suspended he was on pace....and thats with NO ONE throwing to him. _________________

Outside of Bowe, I'd say this is a very good mock.
(allthough I'd much rather have Bowe on the outside than anything we have right now). _________________

Overall I really like it. I don't see the team letting go of Kluwe after 1 bad year though and I prefer Arthur Brown over Alec Ogletree but that's just me, If we were to get Bowe I would completely be on board with Da'Rick Rogers in RD2. Terrance Knighton would be an amazing sign fill the role Pat Williams used to have when teams didn't even bother to try running the ball.

Overall I like it.
Those FA inquisitions would be ideal. Bowe might have some problems with drops, but he's still 10x better than anything we have on the outside, and expecting a rookie to produce like he does is just asinine.
LOVE Ogletree. He's my ideal 1st round pick barring a superb talent falling to us. He looks like a nice fit to our scheme, and looks really good in coverage.
I'd be hesitant to draft Rogers, but the guy can play. He's a high risk/high reward type player. I'd rather go with Patterson, but if he's gone, I wouldn't be too upset if we picked him.
I'd also like us to bring in either Flynn or Smith to try and push Ponder, and possible take over for him if he still sucks next year. |

the dude is nothing but garbage time. I live near KC so I watch a lot of KC football. His only motivation is getting paid.
Besides hes from Miami, and I've heard he would like to sign there.
I say let him go be their problem. _________________
