QB Kevin Kolb said rehab has "hit a wall." Frustrated and is still working, but did not sound optimistic to return soon. #AZvsSEA
Said a few weeks ago I thought he had played his final snap for us...this season anyway.
A guy who has trouble bouncing back from injuries was facing a 6-8 week rehab with 10 games to go. I didn't like those odds.
I don't see how we can bring him back, reduced salary/backup or not.
Goodbye Kevin. _________________

Can't count on Kolb not to get hurt and can't count on him to heal fast. _________________

| He's done as a Cardinal. He was probably Whiz's last hope too. That Kolb trade/contract really did Whiz in at the end. |

Expensive gamble, but you cannot win them all.
Had he turned into the next Aaron Rodgers or something, we would be lauding him a genius. |

It's hard to feel bad for millionaires but I do kinda feel for him. His body has been a punching bag for two seasons. His toughness should never be questioned. Glad that era is over now. _________________

| I definitely feel bad for him because you can tell hes tough and hes determined and he wants to get out on the field, but he cant because hes taken so much of a beating |

It doesn't feel good telling you guys I told you so when we could have gotten Vick or even Tebow. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

I'd rather Kolb than both of those players. _________________

Me neither.
Realistically, what we should have done was released Matt Leinart right after the 2007 and drafted someone in 2008 or 2009. Let a player that projected to fit in our scheme learn behind Kurt for 1-2 years and then come in. By waiting until after Kurt left, we completely ruined ourselves. Hard to Whiz to have known that the 2010 and 2011 quarterback classes would be crap but he still needed to have a better plan than a QB he didn't want in Leinart and a QB nobody wanted in DA. Once we went that direction, we were saddled to the draft/trade market. _________________
