Same. I also thought he would get good playing time with Seattle though. _________________

Golden Tate and Sidney Rice have been revelations, to be honest. Tate looks like he might be on the cusp of a BIG 2013, and Rice looks good - when healthy, which seems like never (4th concussion in two years? I don't care what he says about feeling well, that is a massive concern).
I'm never one to say "Wonder what he'd be like on [INSERT TEAM HERE]" but I have no choice but to wonder how Braylon would do with a reasonably good QB. I mean, look at his career - Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn, Mark Sanchez, Russell Wilson - Wilson is the best name of the bunch, and he's a rookie QB who has his 1/2 WRs established in Tate and Rice. A very good QB, yes...but in his 5+ year career, he's had one guy that you can list as a good QB, and they only played 12 games together.
Get him with a Tom Brady, a Ben Roethlensberger, a Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Matt Schaub, Andy Dalton, Cam Newton etc...actual elite/near elite products at the position who always seem to need WR help, no chance that his production might slip because said QB hit a massive slump in their game and his numbers dwindled. I think he would be a mighty fine WR to add to these arsenals.
If Cincy wants to keep their post season hopes alive, they supplant the loss of Mo Sanu by picking up Edwards and lining him across AJ Green. Andy Dalton is fairly accurate and the threat of Green will mean that Edwards will see some VERY favorable matchups. _________________

The guy still has talent. I think he'll find another NFL team to play for soon. _________________ I bought one of those tapes to teach you Spanish in your sleep. During the night, the tape skipped. Now I can only stutter in Spanish.

Doesn't surprise me in the least.
The guy can't stay healthy, has a permanent case of the dropsies(led the league in drops in at least one season), and he's no spring chicken.
Great guy off the field, but I'm very glad he's no longer a Niner. _________________

the cycle continues.... |
It wouldn't be a particularly risky pick-up or anything. |
It's just that niners fans said this last year, then seattle pitched the same thing in the offseason.....the guy is just done. If you guys need a redzone threat for about3-4 games out of next season, have at it. Just expect him to disappear or get injured for the other 12 _________________

You want RGIII's completion percentage to go down? _________________

He's in the NFL concussion protocol program following that hit:
http://www.kffl.com/gnews.php?id=827214-seahawks-sidney-rice-enters-concussion-program
As someone who has seen his share of concussions and HAD his share of concussions, I can tell you with 100% certainty - when his arms went slack after the TD pass, that was a concussion. Might of been a minor concussion, but was surely a concussion.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2012/12/02/seattle-seahawks-beat-chicago-bears-23-17-as-sydney-rice-is-knocked-cold/1740939/
There's no way that ISN'T a concussion. _________________

There is a commonly held belief that playing in Cleveland makes you worse than you actually are.
But, as has been proven time and time again being bad in Cleveland generally just means you are a bad football player.
Braylon Edwards never worked hard enough to get his game to the level of his ego. He went from "drowning" in Cleveland to washing up everywhere else. _________________

I really don't think he'd love having a WR who regularly disappears in games, runs the wrong routes, and drops easy passes. Tendencies like that typically lead the the NFL unemployment line, not to happy QBs. _________________

It wasn't a concussion Rice was just fine and cleared it if there was any indication of a concussion he would not be playing this week the NFL has really come down on handling the concussions he even came on the radio and did a interview a few minutes after the game talked very normal.
I know it looked really bad but Rice said he was going to get right up but the trainer made him lay there. |
