Yeah, but luckily they haven't really had them pile up one on top of the other like a lot of teams do.

Yeah, but they've been lucky that this is the first season-ending one.
Mankins, Connolly, Vollmer, Hernandez, Gronkowski, Edelman, Vereen, and Bolden have all missed games, and Welker and Lloyd have all been questionable for games but not missed any time. That's 7 starters and 3 big contributors that have been hurt, and all with nobody going on IR until now.
