Version 2. Thank you for the feedback on v1. Ok, so I enjoy adding a few trades in the mock, but not too early in rounds to evoke the "my team would never pull that trade" comment. The one I did add that will raise eyebrows is moving Miami tackle Jake Long to Arizona for a first and a third round pick (after cutting bait with a few failed experiments). With Long no longer fitting the offensive scheme they want to run in Arizona, it make sense to bring in someone who does. I have another version with free agent acquisitions, but will wait to incorporate after the season.

Either way, this will change by the time the draft comes around. Also, draft orders are projected, so bear with the fact that your team currently is much worst or slightly better than their current slot.

Trades:
Jake Long from Miami to Arizona for #13 & #75
Oakland sends #67 to Miami for #75 & #112
Arizona sends #44 to Miami for #49 and #67
Tennessee sends #168 to Minnesota for #179 & #201

I like it, but I'd rather go Ryan Swope or Logan Ryan in the 3RD instead of QB.

20 Minnesota Cordarrelle Patterson WR

Good Pick, but Dee Milliner CB would be the choice. Cook is a very nice CB, but unfortunately has missed time (injury/off-field). When he is gone, the pass defense struggles. We could certaintly use Dee on this team and Cook and Dee would be show an ultra great tandum.

51 Minnesota Aaron Murray QB

I cant see us moving on from Ponder now (for better or worse) with a reasonably high draft pick (maybe a late one if someone falls). I still think we try to assemble the parts this offseason. We could also look at bringing in a vet free agent QB, to take over Ponder next season if they struggles continue. With the players available I would be looking at a) Kawaan Short DT b) Alec Ogletree ILB.

83 Minnesota Alvin Bailey OG

Kevin Minter ILB would be a nice pick here. His production has been nice this season. Grabbing Minter here, is one of the reasons we passed on Ogletree/Brown in Round 2

103 Minnesota (from Detroit) Shane Skov ILB.

With Minter on board, Vikings decided to fix the secondary with TJ McDonald FS, who would arguably be great value here in the 4th. TJ + Harrison is a nice Safety Duo. That completes the secondary Cook/Dee/TJ/Harrison.

115 Minnesota Nikell Robey CB

Don't think he will be there, but if available this late, hard to see the Vikings not taking a flyer on Tyler Bray QB

R1 CB, R2 DT, R3 ILB, R4 S, R5 QB

I really respect the effort put into this! If the board fell this way this is what I would do for Green Bay:

Round 1 - Barrett Jones
Round 2 - Jackson Jeffcoat
Round 3 - Ertz is awesome, Markus Wheaton is also an option.
Round 4 - William Gholston - I highly doubt that freak falls that far though
Round 5 - Take a flyer on Lattimore.
Round 6 - Lane Johnson - But again I think he ends up like 2nd round.
Round 7 - Fine.

No way the Vikings take a QB in round two, especially with Alec Ogletree and Kawann Short sitting there.

Yeah but we will lose out easily, we could end up higher than 4 actually we kind of have to.

We play 4 teams we probably have no shot at beating Tampa, Cinci, Redskins and Giants.

The teams around us vying for the top pick play each other. So we kind of have the inside track.

Awful draft for the Bengals.

1. WR is not remotely a first round need for the Bengals. The top 3 are set and we have a decent 2 deep at 2 of 3 spots. Milliner or Barr.

2. We are also set with our starting and backup center. Vaccaro there.

2. I can live with this pick if we don't get Barr in 1.

3. A little early for a backup MLB. Carradine there.

4. Free safety is not a need, and with the change to Vaccaro in 2, give us Kenjon Barner there.

5. Ok.

6. Ok

6. No preference here. BPA.

I don't see how Barkley or Woods make it out of the first, let alone mid 2nd-early 3rd.
