thought he was too stubborn to change
I've seen 2 major changes this season as the year has progressed that pleases me immensely
1) He's allowing our CBs to play more physical press which is really benefiting Lewis and Allen
2) He's allowing (lately) our DEs to attack more off the snap, which is really benefiting Ziggy the last few games
Perhaps the old dog is willing to use some new tricks? Go figure. |

I know I owe an apology to K. Lewis. I thought he would never amount to a good CB. |

I've noticed that as well the past few games. I missed most of yesyerday's game (kid's holiday concert...ugh!!!...who scheduled that...FAIL!)
Anyway, absolutely nice to see a different approach. Won't work every week and isn't fail-safe, but at least it's showing a willingness to adjust! _________________

Well, Lebeau made our pass defense vulnerable. Constabtly rolling Troy to the LOS makes us vulnerable to those sideline floaters. _________________

If he's not at the LOS, the Steelers can't stop the run. The right side of the defense can't do anything by itself.
LeBeau should use some 46 type defenses, just have Troy play up, but drop him back in coverage. _________________ Kickers are people too |

I feel Lebeau allowing Troy to freelance led to our ILB missing coverage assignments. Troy would be at LOS and PA passes, he would run into Foote orTimmons which left holes in our zones. _________________
