Nothing will be official until tomorrow obviously but when your own coaches think it, it's probably true. Almost suredly a torn triceps muscle for offensive tackle Jake Long. Timetable on those are lengthy.
Lots of people had him on their offseasin wish lists.
EDIT: With a link this time.

Is there anything to back up this? Because I see a very realistic scenario based on money and need. _________________

| How do see that as a realistic option? Were there rumors? This organization doesnt make a big splash like that for arguably the best player at his position. This is a stubborn FO. Theyre drinking too much Kool-Aid because it appears they are unwilling to make the changes necessary |

I think so to. Plus I think there will be lots of cuts and MB might be willing to overpay a bit. Plus it would give us more options in the draft. _________________

Our organization makes big splashes with big resources involved hope for big changes all the time. There's nothing factual to suggest this regime is quote, "unwilling" to make necessary changes. Nothing at all. We do it all the time, every year. Whether we're making the right changes or not is certainly a question for debate but saying we're not making changes is factually incorrect. _________________

1 new starting LG
1 new starting RG
1 new starting RT
1 new starting NT
2 new starting OLBs
2 new starting CBs
1 new starting FB, K, P, PR
1 new offensive playcaller
1 new defensive coordinator
1 new QB coach
1 new WR coach
1 new director of pro player personnel
1 new director of college scouting
4 new area scouts _________________

| those are some guys being drafted. Of course you get new players from the draft. Its not like they were gonna get rid of all those picks |

I had a rebuttal for that but I'll scrap it and go with you. Ya, some are picks. I'll eliminate them. That still leaves QB, 1 TE, LG, RG, 1 CB special teams, Ray Horton, some front office and a vast majority of the scouting directory. And those weren't cheap changes either. Kolb cost us an arm and a leg. I can tell you for certainty that even though it isn't reported anywhere, Jason Licht got paid and then some this summer.
I think you get my point. _________________
