4th or 5th round. He's way more talented than that but we don't need his problems. If we had veteran leadership established and a winning culture, I'd go earlier.
Seeing as we don't have a 3rd I'd probably spend the 4th on a safety instead, though. I'm actually pretty okay with Norman-Thomas-Munnerlyn right now and definitely okay when Gamble comes back. I hope Mcdermmot stays he seems have figured out this team. |

Sounds like a Jeff Fisher project. He'll take him in the 2nd or 3rd. |

True, but he already has Janoris Jenkins to deal with. _________________

Exactly. All the talent in the world, just missing it upstairs. _________________

Seems like a safety to me. Will be taken earlier than he should because of his name and rep. I wouldn't mind him in the 4th. _________________

I would definitely not mind if we were to take him. We have the worst safety combo in the league. |

Surprisingly, we're probably only bottom five. Some absolutely terrible safeties out there. |

I think he'd be best suited to be used in a Joker, all around the field role ala Woodson in '09. He is not a very good cover guy but he can make plays. From everything I've seen, I'd compare him to the Polamalu of today except he's not as good of a cover guy.
It'll take a creative defensive coordinator who will allow him to be him - as in, don't restrict him to playing coverage (which is far from one of his strengths) and to allow him to sort of "roam" and make plays with his instincts. I think he could be a guy who glamorizes the nickel corner position.
Not sure where I'd take him though. If he was just smoking marijuana, I wouldn't have as much of an issue. But it seems to be much more than that with him and I'm concerned he hasn't actually learned from it considering he wound up getting arrested again after leaving LSU. _________________

He's also valuable in the return game. Given our horrible return game since Michael Bates, I'd take a whirl on him just for that. _________________

i'd take him to take over the FS spot. i'd have to change my underwear if we somehow landed star and the honey badger in the same draft. _________________

I would like to see us trade back into the 3rd round and draft the honey badger. I think he could be a great safety and he has a great nack for getting turnovers.
I would like to see us trade DeAngelo Williams to someone for a 3rd rounder, maybe someone like Green Bay, Denver or maybe the Colts. |

The safety idea is interesting. I don't know if he is fast enough though. |

Speed isn't the issue for him. I mean he's not going to run a fast 40 but he has great change of direction, which I'll take over just straight line speed. It's also great for the nickel corner position. Which is why I think he'll probably be a better fit for that than playing straight up safety. _________________
