Well we have hit a down patch in the season, time to see if I can get the Lions back on track with this GDT.
On Sunday December 2nd, the Indianapolis Colts will travel to Detroit to brave the Harsh environment of the Detroit Lions Ford Field.
Indianapolis Colts (7-4)
@
Detroit Lions (4-7)
All but mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, I expect the Lions to make a move right here that will ultimately fall just short of the post season, but will get everyone extra hyped up about the possibilities of next year.
The Lions come into this game fired up after a Thanksgiving screw job last week with an extra few days of rest. I think we come out hot and our DTs keep rookie phenom Andrew Luck off balance all game. On offense I expect a big game from Megatron who has set his sights on Jerry Rice's single season receiving yards record. Stafford should continues to build chemistry with Broyles who will also have a good game.
I predict the Lions win 32-23.
What is everyone's thoughts about this weeks game? _________________

I think we win. Hopefully Suh & Fairley can continue to dominate. Calvin will go for 250+ yards, 10+ catches & 3 TD's... I hope. We will have our WR's lined up in the right spots and maybe we will get to see a TE in this game. _________________ I <3 Kate Upton and Ezekiel Ansah, just FYI

The Colts are playing great and if the lions don't get to Luck early and often I think he will shred the secondary. Though checking the stats they haven't run the ball effectively and their leading rusher has 400+ yards. http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/ind/indianapolis-colts
with that in mind if our secondary shows up then we have a good chance to win.
they have beaten 2 quality teams this season ( Packers & Vikings) the rest of their wins came against teams like the Browns, the Jags, and the Bills.
Also they never beat any team soundly, every win has been by 3 or 7 points then again that's what the lions always lose by.
I'll go with Detroit

Winnable game for us. Key obviously is stopping Luck. I think we are able to do that with Suh and Fairley.
CJ should have another big game too.

I think we win too. Now is about the time we start screwing up our draft spot. _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

We can win if Linehan actually pulls his head out of his rear. His play calling sucks.
Funny thing is Jrry just said what his nickname in Stl was and so accurate.

Colts win this I think. Hilton/Wayne/Luck all have been playing some good football. I kind of also expect Fleener to have a nice game also.
Think Lions will still be competitive. 31-24 colts.
Also think Lions can win this game if they can put up a few TD early and use there run game to grind away at the time. |

I feel pretty good about this game actually. The Colts have a surprisingly good record, and they're 5-1 in their last six games, but their wins came against Cleveland, Tennessee, Miami, Jacksonville, and Buffalo--aka the dredges of the league. The other game was a blowout loss to New England in which the Colts surrendered 59 points. They've had an extremely easy schedule for the most part, although they did get a quality win against Green Bay. I think the Lions need to get some pressure on Luck, find some rhythm on offense, and they should be good to go. The nice part is that the Colts aren't particularly disruptive on defense; they have the league's lowest number of interceptions and forced fumbles, and they're in the bottom third of the league in sacks as well.

| heard the top corner is out for indy. Megatron should have a good day, Stat eise the rushing D has been bad i think Leshoure has 100+ yards... i think Luck is going put up yards*garbage time* and we win 35-24. |

This game shouldn't be close but somehow like almost every other game the Lions will allow it to be. Still lack the ability to dominate an inferior opponent (talent wise not record) and thus will end up having to pull one out of the fire late.

I don't know if many of you already knew this, but some of the Colts' cheerleaders have shaved their heads in support of the head coach's battle with cancer. Pretty cool thing for them to do imo.

This game will not be close at all.
Lions 47-21 Colts.
Megatron will kill us. He's going to be against Darius Butler or Vontae Davis the entire game. _________________
