I go against Cecil Shorts in week 1 of the playoffs so this is gonna be a rough guy to root for, but i loved him so much coming in from MU _________________

This guy is a monster. I hope him and Blackmon can develop into a legitimate WR duo like White and Jones (high hopes, I know). I wanna see the Jags when MJD comes back. They might actually have a balanced offense.
Side note: He's a fantasy stud. Picked him up in the waiver wire three weeks ago and he's already my top WR ahead of Welker, A. Johnson, and Jennings. If you haven't picked this dude up for your fantasy team, you just don't like winning. _________________

I still think we need another weapon on the outside (maybe just the pre-draft feelings on Blackmon), to truly make this offense a tough matchup.
I'm certain Henne will be leading the offense into the future, and I'm not sure Blaine isn't the guy, but the weapons seem to be coming together. |
When i imagine the idea of having Blackmon in the slot most of the time, Shorts III and potentially adding a big athletic outside WR guy in the draft...It makes me very happy. Very very happy. |

Since the GOAT is missing this Sunday's game, to get to 1000 yards he needs to average 59/game receiving.
It's still possible! _________________

its definitely possible, on borderline probable, but he has to be healthy for them to risk him playing _________________

How Ron Brooks isn't suspended for the rest of the season is beyond me.
Ron was so mad Cecil was torching him, he had to deliver a blow to his head. Disgusting. _________________

He's an extremely valuable piece moving forward - no need to put him at risk at the tail end of a lost season. _________________

He's an extremely valuable piece moving forward - no need to put him at risk at the tail end of a lost season. | True, but if he can't pass the concussion test in two weeks, you have to start worrying about the long term effects this will have on him. Most of the time the player should be able to clear within 2 weeks with no problem. _________________

Well, he's on my fantasy team in an ESPN league and the "Breaking News" thing said he had passed last week but was still showing symptoms and has been totally cleared this week, although still listed as questionable.
My take on the situation is that the team didn't think risking him even a little was an option. I have to assume that he'd have played last week if we were in playoff contention.
I think he's/we're incredibly fortunate that he isn't in the same boat as Shady McCoy - struggling to pass the tests. _________________
